Old norse, which Danish is derived from, has given lots of "Loan words" to English during the viking occupation of Great Britain, such as; window, arm, knife etc. It's also a Germanic language. So you wouldn't be completely lost in space when listening to it.

In German it's "Fenster" from Latin "fenestra" (dark). Vindue is basically "Windauge" in German but that sounds super outdated to us

Bleeder is worth a watch then, many of the same actors and atleast as raw as the pusher movies. Its far from as popular as pusher so it might be difficult to find it with subs tho.

Pusher 3 is my personal favourite. The Pusher movies are very authentic and realistic in almost every single aspect. You can find the same autencity in some American 90's ghetto movies. But no, not in any modern Hollywood movie.

I hope you lot know that you are right on the money for real reasons... The Liverpool Scouse accent was influenced by Norwegian sailors according to linguists... I first visited Copenhagen 3 yrs ago. As a Pusher fan I was keen to hear the accents. I was gleeful when finally heard an accent similar to The Cunts, on a train ride. But it was when I was leaving and at the airport duty free store in line, I saw some fellas in front of me whose heritage was middle eastern but their Danish accent was 100% like the Kong of Kopenhagen 😂😊 I was soooo happy

our language contain many english and german words. spanish too. its just spelled different and sounds very similar.
