but your characters look kinda like fire boy and water girl, try make the character with natural colours and a nice shade of red for the horns, tail and wings for the devil. white or baby blue for the the halo and wings for the angel. That's how you give advice to people when they have eye bleeding colours or if there OC has random colours, its like a more nicer term to speak to people younger than you that doesn't really know a lot about art.

when somebody says that you can’t improve if you trace, that completely wrong. when i was 7, i used to trace a lot, and look at me now. tracing helped me a lot when it came to anatomy. but one thing i can agree on is that not crediting the artist is wrong. you should always credit hardwork.
