The reason why there is a timer is because brawl stars games naturally have a 15 ish minute clock and will time out to prevent a game lasting forever which is smart.

fun fact, all games of brawl stars are maxed at 13 mins, if your gemgrab game is 13 minutes there will also be a timer, and I am also pretty sure (maybe it was changed) but when the training grounds first came out you would be kicked out after 13 minutes too.

This isnt a new world record, because a german youtuber (Puuki) already did this 3 years ago i think. Without mapmaker.
