Unfortunately rats got into the gravitational feeder and started eating most of the grain, which is expensive because grain is expensive so now I just give the chickens exactly how much they'll eat each day and no more so that I'm not feeding the neighbourhood rats :/

In the early 90s, we had a cat food/water bowl (like 2:22) with a place to install a 2 liter bottle. You'd wash out an old soda bottle, and refill it with drinking water, then screw it into the bowl. If you did it right, the bottle would refill the water when it got low. If you did it wrong, the water would fly out of the bowl and you'd have over a liter of water on your floor. Fun times.

This movie's interpretation of God is pretty suspect, honestly. Roses mentions that He was on a 25 year "vacation" before the movie started, which would roughly be from 1958 to 1983. That implies that this version of God was around and involved for at least everything that happened in the first half of the 20th century, and *none of that* made Him think humanity wasn't worth saving. And yet it's the first few years of the 80's that He suddenly wants to pack it in. Methinks His values are the thing that's beyond saving.

Yeah the concept would've been a little more believable if it had just been a bet between an angel and Satan over this one specific guy and not God being like "wow the whole earth sucks, Imma reset it" with the angels being like "no wait, what about John Travolta?!" Then the big man in heaven goes on to completely destroy human cooperation because He thinks humans could get too full of themselves If they are able to Talk to each other, so He invents languages. The purpose is literally to stop humans working with each other. And the flood is pretty random too, especially since after Said flood he Just as randomly decides "Well now that everyone is dead except my Boy Noah and His Family, now i swear that i will never do this again. Pinky swear." So ...yh, god has had some weird random Standards in His time, chances are He Just got bored in this movies universe

Yes, like in the time of Noah, who was the only righteous man found on the planet. In fact, it was so bad, that God flooded the Earth and saved only Noah, his family, and representative animals. God also said he would never again destroy Earth by flood again. But I guess this movie didn't have the budget to hire someone with knowledge of the Bible to advise the writers.

1:15 LOL! Some historical context to what he was most likely trying to do: Back in the day, the cord connecting the receiver and the phone base had to be routinely 'untwisted' by hanging the receiver down, and letting the coil untwist itself. However, that does not explain why he was holding the entire phone (base) aloft to achieve this simple task..?! Also, OMG, Oliver Reed...! That man has had one of the strangest careers in film, and seeing him in this added an extra little pocket of surrealism to this movie... :D

This movie seems painfully 80's lol Normally, I would be cringing the whole time watching a film like this but you definitely made it a fun experience!

This was unironically one of my favourite movies as a kid - I adored Olivia and wanted to be her sooooo badly that my other favourite movie was Xanadu, lol! I still love Xanadu and have a special edition copy of it but couldn't remember the name of this movie for the life of me so thank you!! I'm shopping for this even as I watch your video, I can't wait to watch this again, I remember so many scenes but couldn't remember the title, LOL!

Woah, watching this review was so weird... I couldn't help but think of "A Life less ordinary" when you were talking about it. You can't deny the similarities! "A Life less ordinary" is probably my favorite bad movie. I just love it.

I'd recommend Mr. Vampire, one of my favourite comedy horrors. I really like the traditional Chinese hopping zombie/vampires and all the crazy ways to deal with the supernatural. There are 3 sequels but really it's just the first one that's the best. What's interesting is 5 of the actors return 21 years later in the 2013 Rigor Mortis... which could be seen as a much MUCH more serious spiritual successor to the Mr. Vampire series. Anyways... Mr. Vampire, good stuff.

It's so good. It's hilarious that the characters are given random English names that have nothing to do with their actual names. I also actually find the side story with the ghost lady kind of sad.

I remember watching this movie as a kid back in the 80’s. Olivia and John where so big back then . I know the movie didn’t do well but I remember always hearing the songs on Kasey’s Top 40 every weekend.

Satan always struck me as being more of a cat person if I'm being perfectly honest. Also, a video on either The Mangler or Lifeforce would be great. Both are Tobe Hooper directed films with The Mangler being a weird adaptation of a Stephen King short story and Lifeforce just being awesomely bat shit insane (it's got space vampires and boobs). Anyone else get the impression that Travolta is a weird dude? Maybe he should get a series on this channel haha.

Bonus points for "Love Potion #9" being one of the three movies advertised on the DVD--it's a horrible example of the "Protagonist commits sexual assault for laughs" genre so popular in the late 80s and early 90s. (I can't recommend it, unless you're looking for some truly skeevy behavior by Tate Donovan and Sandra Bullock.) Also, as a side-note: I actually saw this movie. On TV, I think, or maybe as a VHS rental. Amusingly enough, I couldn't actually remember any of it past the bank robbery.

Ok, this is the first time I had to stop the video and go track the movie down and watch it before finishing the video. What a great find! It reminds me vaguely of a movie with a guy who has computer glasses and god tells him to save angels or something, but when defeating monsters they turn into angels wearing sheer tops and it was rated PG. *shrug* great video as always! I will come back to finish it once I watched the movie.

BTW, that isn't a blank DVD, it's a two-sided DVD that you can flip over. It's from the dinosaur days when DVD-DL (9GB DVD's) were not supported by all DVD players. In those days, it was easier to put content on both sides of the disc in case a player didn't support the larger discs.
