The paddle shifters are great for real, it shouldn’t fuck up ur transmission. Downshift gets u higher in them revs so u can accelerate a lil quicker up shift goes lower on the revs. Ion got an ss but my Acura got paddle shifters nd them shits fun ash

You can practice at lower speeds with the paddle shifters to get used to them and just gradually get comfortable at higher speeds. It’s really about getting the feel of your rev range in each gear so you know when to shift. Nice SS!

Paddles are easy once you understand when to up or down shift, usually the left is down and right is up but they could be both, try to do a launch in 2nd then upshift all the way up to 4th or 5th, id get use to them first before trying them on Highway however don’t be afraid to try it shouldn’t mess up your engine my bmw has a ecu so it’s basically not letting me redline it completely potentially causing damage.
