Thanks very good explanation, however what a pity that you didn't describe the current wave forms of the two transistors and the battery. To my opinion and analysis, during the time the magnetic flux is constant, there must be a free Wheeling current in the opposite non switching coil of the primary side to maintain that flux. Ones the non switching transistor carrying the freewheel current is switched on in the second half of the cycle, the freewheel current is going down back to zero again. It would be nice if someone can confirm this because I'm also learning.

Good question. neither was explained how a constant flux can exist without a current.
