If you don't take the time to find out the limits of any machine then you don't know truly how much work you can put out my opinion

You would be surprised if you knew the amount of 'testing' that CAT perform, on each and every one of their machines, endurance and otherwise, at various locations throughout the world. The testing in this video is 'tame', compared to the real testing that's performed. I know other manufacturers, do, or claim to do the same, but CAT really do spend fortunes on all aspects of machine development, no expense is spared. A lot of competition, as there always has been, in the heavy equipment industry, from emerging markets, but CAT seem to 'up their game' every time, the new and current machine range, have gone to the next level.

I wanted to see a hydraulic cylinder on the blade to adjust the pitch angle on the fly, like the bigger dozers have.

I have more 8 years experience with Cat Dozer and Excavator and in terms of durability and fuel save i think is how the operator use the machine, because a Lazy operator or little experience will lead to bad results

Why do you hate back blading
@masonsydow95465 жыл бұрын
chris rizzo my uncle always says “if dozers were meant to move material in reverse they would have a blade on the back”.

Back dragging is very inefficient and a bad habit for new operators to get into. Bulldozer operation is all about holding an even grade in forward.

I had a one of the best operators/ finishers I have ever seen and also an owner and my employer at the time tell me, if you need to back blade to finish,,, you can't, until you master blade control moving forward especially an angled blade. Then you will see there is very little need to back blade. Occasionally you will be in a situation when you need too. Tight corners or boundary lines .

Pretty stupid comment really bud. It was obviously stated in the video everything he was doing to the machine and why he was doing it. It was all about how the dozer reacted in different situations and the different ways of operating it. Think before you make dumb comments next time.
