Your oven grill or grill grate is dirty and that also already strongly burnt? Then you can clean it with the help of a bag. In this short video I show you how it works.
To do this, you should crush a dishwashing tab and then dissolve it in hot water. Dump the mixture into a garbage bag and add the grill grate. Then fill it up with warm water and close the bag so that the water does not run out.
So you can let it soak for 1 hour. The dishwashing liquid will loosen even the most stubborn dirt. When the time is up, you can just dump out the liquid.
Nice side effect, this now still ensures that your drain is cleaned! Wipe over the grill grate or oven grate again and the dirt should come off very easily.
Then rinse it off really well and it's clean again without you having to scrub like crazy. If you did not know this trick yet, you should definitely try it!

I have done that with oven cleaner and let it sit for 8 hrs. Now I have a new oven, I'll try this when my racks get a bit messy looking; so much simpler than oven cleaner.
