IDK why but Noah and Markell's relationship from just what I saw made me sad. IK I don't know anything about them, so this is just a rant for myself. I am really observant w my friends and I felt Markell when he was kind of getting sad w how he noticed Noah doesn't know something about him. That just made me think of myself and my relationship w my friends, Christmas this year I got good-ass gifts for my friends that I knew they would like and I got just a random pair of socks. It's not the fact that I got socks it's the fact that I got socks that don't relate to me at all. It just made me sad and Noah and Markell reminded me of that.

From the previous conversations and episodes of this podcast that I have been watching…Noah isn’t a very attentive person in relationships. He truly seems like a very nice guy but he comes off a bit self absorbed. Not knowing birthdays, ignoring messages after reading them or not having a thought to buy a gift. Having people celebrate you and you don’t return that love/support is not ok. What I have learned is that people make time for what they want to. No matter how busy someone may seem they make time for the people they prioritize. So a busy schedule is no excuse on not being a good friend, because they are communicating with someone just not you. A friendship needs to be fueled with love as well. P.S. reading the comments Living together was a mutual beneficial thing for Noah & Markell both. (Noah’s own words from the video). So let’s not bring that up acting as though Noah was the savior for Markell. (That comments is giving white savior). 🤢

noah is such a sweet person bruh. he’s always doing things for his friends, did you kiss the part where larri was having a hard time remembering sir birthday and they are tight. i know i don’t have a good memory and usually i remember but sometimes my mind goes blank. he also isn’t obligated to buy anyone anything, he doesn’t need to every year and he happened to not this year which is okay. the whole not replaying to messages honestly i think it’s a la thing, noah has admitted to doing it, even larri to blankly ignore someone to “disconnect” but not communicate that they are so ghosting. charli and dixie both said they do it and countless other la influencers so it’s sadly the norm.

@@antonialynk706 You’re correct. My introduction to both host is this pod cast. My conclusion is solely based on what I have been seeing on this platform. I wasn’t fully aware of either until stumbling across this channel. From what I’ve seen, I feel that him coming off as a genuinely good guy may be giving him a pass on things that he could improve on. For instance if Markell is such a good friend and believes it’s important for Noah to give the same level of support and love to him for his birthday (one day out the year), I don’t think that’s a hard ask. That’s not even including not hanging out or ignoring communication attempts. However if Noah doesn’t view Markell as a close friend than he needs to make that clear with Markell. As you said he does those things with his friends back home, so what makes Markell different? It’s a form of leading someone on having them think they hold importance in your life when they actually don’t. I say all that to say just because you’re a good person and the nicest of nicest, doesn’t mean you don’t have room to grow as an individual. So either he isn’t being honest with Markell about their friendship or he views Markell as a ‘convenient friend’ (he’s words from previous episodes).

On a previous episode Larray mentioned he wanted a gift in return on his birthday from Noah. He then got hate for it that made him back track. However if one of Larray’s love languages is people showing him the same love he gives, as his friend, Noah should do those things. This isn’t Christmas. Everyone wants to be celebrated and remembered on their birthday. It’s not a strange or foreign concept. No, Larray didn’t remember Sir’s birthday month but he remembered the date. However he also throw the shade to Markell of saying, “Yeah but what did Noah do for your birthday and ask Sir what I did for his.” Basically saying I may not have remembered in this moment (which as you pointed out is ok to draw a blank occasionally) but when it was time Larray was there for Sir on his birthday in a real way. That’s the most important take away. Lastly I also agree with you it’s sad that it’s normalized to ignore people you claim to care about in LA. That’s weird to me. I understand maybe saying I’ll get back with them later on. But to completely ignore a message by never replying even later on that same day is so strange. However I do think people use that as an excuse. Remember how I said earlier people make time for who or what they prioritize. Ok so in this same scenario say this person is going “unplug”. Are they still ignoring calls from their mom? Dad? Siblings? Manager? Accountant? Or is it just certain people that they aren’t responding to and never getting back to? Even President Obama made time to go to his daughters games & recitals. People make time for who & what they value.
