Ukraine has already attacked the nuclear power plant. You didn't see the videos of it on fire. They failed at destroying it. Ukraine cannot seize it to hold it as ransom. They've lost the element of surprise and now the Russians are destroying the Ukrainian/NATO forces in Kurst. The only option left for Ukraine if they refuse to back down, is to destroy the plant. Not capture it and hold it as ransom ... but to destroy it. Every day Russia is sending more troops into Kurst. There is no way Ukraine can capture it. They would have to send in at least 50,000 more troops to capture it. Something they cannot do anymore. Truthfully. This boneheaded plot by Ukraine is probably something they should've done in 2021 when they would've had the complete element of surprise on their side; and a military large enough to accomplish that military goal. Too late for that. When nations become this desperate in a time of war, that means they're crumbling and have basically lost the war. Therefore, according to international law, Russia is lawfully in the land that was formerly a part of eastern Ukraine, and now the newly formed sovereign nation, the “PDR”. This is why Russia is not marching westward is because he really doesn’t want to invade Ukraine. He is only staying in the PDR. However, if Ukraine doesn’t stop with their never ending provocations Russia will be in full accordance of international law to declare war on Ukraine and utterly destroy Kiev and other major cities. The problem is Russia rightfully fears the NATO, the US and British alliance.
