Putin has offered his acceptable terms for a ceasefire to the global community and his terms are that Ukraine should surrender more territory and give Russia everything they want. Ukraine and more than 90 nations participated in a peace summit in Switzerland and stood united behind the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations in the world that other dictators might want to invade next.

Zelenskyy published his peace plan in 2022. Perhaps it will be updated, but I imagine the conditions haven’t materially changed. It focuses on nuclear safety, food security, and complete withdrawal, return of POWs. Reparations are in order too. Ukraine will likely end up with all the Russian assets seized from abroad.

So a couple years back Business Insider had a video about weavers in Ukraine and the lady was walking around, late fall, and all I could think was how the area looked exactly like where I live, all those fall trees, the street, everything. I stand by Ukraine, being invaded in 2014 by a hostile nation stealing your port city, I thought it was horrible then that no one did anything, and now I feel so connected with them over a video about weaving that I can't help but support them now. I saw that same video! It was something like a year after the full-scale invasion though, and my only thought was along the lines of "Oh my gawd I really hope those incredible artisans & their families are still alive!"... The Vice docuseries about the Russian invasion & annexation of Crimea, & the Luhansk & Donetsk oblasts as well as their documentary about the Revolution of Dignity are what made me fall in love with Ukraine & the Ukrainian peoples, way back in 2014 as those events all unfolded. When the full-scale invasion started (on my friggin birthday, no less) I spent most of a week solid just basically in tears, sobbing my heart out. It's been difficult to get into much of a celebratory mood on my birthday ever since then....

The story of Ukraine's resistance against Russia is truly inspiring. It is a reminder that the downfall of a bully starts when one simply says : "No." and stands up to them. Not only are the governments of over 50 something countries sending Ukraine billions in aid, but all the private crowdfunding as well sending them help, too. Putin has genuinely awoken a righteous anger around the world through his actions, and now he simply can not fathom why the rest of the world doesn't fear him, and he's very afraid this feeling may spread to his own populace. This could have gone drastically different in February of 2022 had Zelensky left instead of staying there with his countrymen and continued to see this conflict through to the end.

You know...had Putin asked Ukraine or even the U.S. to allow their civilians to immigrate to southern Ukraine for their survival since Russia is about to become a giant freezer when the poles flip...he would have gotten further than he will with war. I am told that places in Eastern Russia will still be livable. Why isn't Putin preparing those areas and moving his populace to it ..instead of killing them off in war? I already know the answer. Putin wants to be king in Jerusalem because he is Jewish by blood...and that is why he is so short and doesn't care about Russian lives. I am Jewish, even Queen of Judah and I care more for the well being of Russian civilians than their own leader does. If I didn't...I would have given Ukraine free reign to do what they wanted to do to Russia. It is only my mercy that has held them back. Now Putin has been warned long enough and now I will be less restrictive.

even if Putin gets replaced by another dictator or at least an authoritarian, the nature of palace intrigue and internal Russian politics means that whoever takes control of Russia will have plenty to worry about. they are likely to negotiate for an end to the war in order to get Russia out of its entanglement and attempt to build some shred of goodwill with the international community. very difficult to achieve any sort of economic recovery otherwise.
