Putin meets Republic of Congo President Denis Sassou Nguesso in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Republic of Congo President Denis Sassou Nguesso to the Kremlin on Thursday.
Putin praised Nguesso's contribution to developing Russian-Congolese relations and thanked him for the joint work on the international stage.
During a meeting with Putin, Nguesso said he would like to discuss cooperation in economy, finance, defense and security with Russian officials.
Putin also awarded Nguesso with an Order of Honor for his contribution to developing and strengthening relations between Russia and Congo.
