Putin’s Answer To UK Storm Shadow Hit, Russia Fires Intercontinental Missile At Ukraine For 1ST Time

For the first time, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (IBM) at Ukraine for the first time. The missile was fired from the Astrakhan region during a morning attack on November 21. This strike coincided with Kyiv's use of US and UK missiles to target locations in Russia. The Russian assault focused on key enterprises and critical infrastructure in central-eastern Dnipro. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that it intercepted and shot down six Kh-101 cruise missiles during the attack. However, Ukrainian officials have not disclosed which type of IBM was used or provided details on any casualties, damage, or the effectiveness of Ukraine's defense against the missile.
