I agree with u in that one. Bc for shes being in this spot, she work very hard i believe. Learn about music, singing techniques, learn how to play instruments, and learn to speak english too. I cant imagine how much hardworks she put in to that. I respect her for that. Shes amazing 💛💛

In hee interviews in various media, she said that she had never studied specifically with a teacher. Apart from playing the piano she can also play the guitar, ukulele, violin (all of which she taught herself) and flute. The flute was the only thing she learned at school. Likewise in terms of singing techniques and speaking English. Since she was 2 years old, she has been able to sing because she usually hears it on television or radio. In terms of speaking English, since Playgroup she has attended an international school in Riau, her hometown

Thank you so much for your reaction and analysis, Jack. Love it ❤. You were right about talent alone is not enough to get Putri to this stage. She's put a lot of hard work. We could see her journey all through the years. Putri started singing since she was three years old. At the age of eight, she took part in Indonesia's got talent. In the audition, she sang "Listen" by Beyonce. Imagine, a little girl singing such a difficult song. She was far from perfect but you could see her great potential. Impeccable diction though English is not her first language. Apparently, the judges saw her potential and she passed the audition. She sang Adele's "Don't you remember " and Celine's "My Heart Will Go On " in the next rounds. Putri won the competition. In 2017, at the age of 11. Putri was invited to join the Voice Kids. She sang "Secret Love Song " while accompanying herself with a keyboard which she had just self-taught herself to play at the age of ten. It was a tough song and Putri struggled singing it. One of the judge's chair turned and Putri went to the next round. Unfortunately, Putri didn't make it to the final eventhough she performed "Somebody to Love" amazingly. Putri has always set the bar really high for herself. She chose extremely difficult songs to sing even for adult singers: Listen, My Heart Will Go On, Don't You Remember, Secret Love Song and Somebody to Love. People's vicious comments and criticism on her voice spurred Putri to be a perfectionist. Over the years, Putri honned in her singing skills. I think that the reason why Putri joined AGT was because she thought that Americans would be able to see her talents beyond her disability (Kodi won AGT in 2014 afterall). However, life continued to serve Putri another blow. Even with her perfect performance, Putri still lost to a clever dog😢. Einstein once said that if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, then it will spend its life believing that it was incapable. It's the same with AGT. How can people with different abilities compete against each other? How can a fish compete against a monkey and a turtle? I'm crying my heart out for Putri 😭😭😭. I think so... A musician is not the same as a karaoke singer (cover song), singer (own original song/songwriter) and composer/arranger, each at a different level. A musician has all the musical abilities to write songs, sing, compose or arrange songs and can also play musical instruments.
