This song original from weird genius (DJ group/EDM group from Indonesia) and the singer is sara fajira. Back in 2020 this song went viral and trending the view was grow so fast. One of the reason is the song using Indonesia language mix with Javanese language (one from more than 600 local language that Indonesia have) not just javanese language but also using many traditional thing in their music video, traditional instrument and culture also (if you interested try to watch the orginal music video), and you know putri also from jogja the culture is same as Javanese so she can sing fluently and can play traditional instrument and make cover it, and in one time the Weird genius also watch many cover from their song and they also amazed with putri video. Precisely, gamelan was a set of musical instrument that consist of many instrument. Gamelan was an ansamble musical instrument consist of (at least!) Demung, slenthem, siter (kind of sitar), kendang, suling (bamboo flute), gender, bonang, kempul, kenong, gambang, rebab (kind of violin), gong and saron. Gambang, demung and saron has similarity in shape. The one that putri played was either demung or saron, because it made from metal (usually made from brass) and not gambang, because gambang made from wood or bamboo. But, if you hear the tone it's look like that she played saron because saron produce higher tone than demung.
