This is a very pleasant soundtrack. HE soundtracks usually are, but there's something particularly relaxing about this one.

Very good! My dad purchased the PC version of this game for me on eBay back in 2012, a decade after I started playing demo versions of earlier Putt-Putt games (it's kind of odd that this one and Pajama Sam 4 never had demo versions, but it's possible that they weren't planned due to time constraints). It was one of the first Putt-Putt PC games I had, along with "Putt-Putt and Fatty Bear's Activity Pack" and "Putt-Putt Travels Through Time." Despite the amount of potential, I liked it as it isn't actually too bad, unlike video games with excess potential I had for the PC, such as "Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing," the 2003 version of "Kar Racing," "LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge," and "Midtown Madness" (aka "Midtown Madness: Chicago Edition"). The 2007 version of "Kar Racing" patched a lot of the original 2003 version's major flaws (thankfully, I don't have the 2003 version anymore), and "LEGO Island Xtreme Stunts" and "Midtown Madness 2" fixed many of the issues with their respective predecessors mentioned here, but I would love to see Tommo, Inc. produce sequels to this game and "Pajama Sam 4" at some point in the future if they will ever be willing to produce installments that would do what the final Putt-Putt and Pajama Sam adventure games to be released in the early 2000s should have been. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic remastered soundtrack, with some nostalgic touches since some of the music tracks were reused from "Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo," another Putt-Putt Junior Adventure game with music created by The Fat Man Team. They worked on terrific music for some of the HE games! Thanks for uploading it!

That opening song legit gives me PTSD because I couldn’t skip it and I played this game so many times as a kid and hated the song

Actually, there are a lot of "Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo" music returns in this episode of the game series and I guess that in their release date order, "Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo" happened first. Also, other non-zoo returning musics sound totally like if they were not created by Humongous Entertainment at all. The musics contain completely different elements compare to the rest of HE soundtracks if we include all the HE soundtracks globally exist.

I'm...not really sure what you're arguing here? The only reason this appears first in upload order is because this was the shortest video so it processed first. I have it in the correct spot in the playlist. Also, I don't really know what sounds like Humongous music to you. Across the many games they made, they had a wide range of different music composers and there was never really a unifying musical style they had. Furthermore, this was composed by the exact same team that also did Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo (yes, including the new music), so that isn't even a fair argument to be making. The leader of this score (George Sanger) was also the leader of the other remastered scores I uploaded too. And to be quite honest, I think this is an underappreciated soundtrack.

@@HumongousSoundtracks Yeah I agree this is definitely underappreciated imo. and out of the 2 games made near the end of HE's lifetime this has the better ost out of the 2 imo. (pajama sam 4 had its really good parts in terms of ost's but I think it had more misses than there where hits) in terms of the idea of what sounds like HE music, it's a very interesting thing to think about. What makes an HE soundtrack sound like HE. tbh I'd say that there isn't an inherent quality that makes all HE music sound HE but that it's more on a per series basis. in terms of what instrumentation, tone, and even leitmotif's are used. For instance when it comes to Freddi fish the use of steel drums, glockenspiel (I think, EDIT: so two weeks later I have come to the conclusion that the instrument may be a marimba this is due to the song from the freddi fish 1 ost of the same name. My bad if so XD), sometimes the harp, and that surf guitar sound help to make the player really feel as if they were in the ocean. This type of sound can be found all throughout the series (with variation ofc dependent on the theme of the game (i.e the old west, a tropical vacation, or a haunted schoolhouse). Tbh I love the fact that despite Freddi fish changing composers more than once the foundation laid by George is still kept pretty consistent throughout the games, though there where some slight artistic changes due to who was doing it which is only natural tbh, (and maybe with an exception to 5 which is a bit of an odd duck at times.) The same can be said about Pajama sam and it's use of the saxophone (tending to be one of the main instruments used throughout the franchise) and Jazz instrumentation. (again with variation depending on the game. Like how 1 tends to have fun but also alien yet atmospheric sound more fit for the night and somewhat creepy tone of the land of darkness, or 2 having a more busy and industrial sound representing the setting of the weather factory/worldwide weather as a whole, and 3 having a more island sound. (most likey due to it taking place on mop-top island) So, I don't think HE overall has a specific sound. But, each franchise was definitely able to capture a specific musical tone that matched very well to its intended game. It really added depth to the worlds that were made. (heck I could go on and on about this XD) like how I love the fact that pajama sam 3 added in a leitmotif for Sam and his adventure the "it's a night thing" theme which shows up from time to time throughout the score. etc. but I guess I'll leave it at this cuz this is heckin long lol.

@@HumongousSoundtracks It's not the composers I'd like to point out. It's the mood painting factor of what the music is telling us how much those fits to Humongous environment. Every single type of Humongous games has a style of what the music composers came up, but Pep's Birthday Surprise is leaning out to classical musics what I usually hear in theatres unlike in HE kids entertainment PC game. That gives me vibes of other type of games sounding similar to what Pep's Birthday Surprise OST offers to us. I never told it's bad, I rather want to tell that it's original and something that no other Humongous composers came up with so far.

Nope. The days of this channel uploading walkthroughs are loooooong past. Check Mr. Eight-Three-One for those.

@@HumongousSoundtracks So you will upload a walkthrough of this game to your main KZbin channel at last? Wonderful! Back in the early 2010s, I didn't see you ever talking about and planning on uploading walkthroughs of both this game and "Pajama Sam 4" as single walkthrough videos before I asked you about them, but I can see why you've been very hesitant to do so for nearly a decade. I was planning on taking over at that time just for both PC games, but I never did, sadly. Well, at least some other people did try their best to do so. But since you were historically the first user on the web to upload multi-part walkthroughs of this game and "Pajama Sam 4" back in 2010, on your main KZbin channel (under legoking831 at that time, now Mr. Eight-Three-One), I look forward to seeing you working on walkthroughs of them and uploading them on there again!
