My cherry barbs are 4 years old now and they are blood red and their fins are now turning black guess from old age. Idk how long they live but I'm gonna have to buy me a few more of them .

I always preferred having nano schooling fish opposed to bigger fish, heck I had a female sorority of 20 and sold them all and bought 5 different species of nano schooling fish and not only do they look so much better in a well planted tank, you can actually enjoy the tank lol

@@EndlesSuffering Yeah me too I wish I had done my tank with smaller fish . I'd like to put 50 ember tetras in my 60 gallon and maybe one center peace fish . They school very well and stay tiny . I have Rainbows angelfish white clouds cherry barbs and a couple platys at the moment. I do love my white clouds and cherry barbs though.
