Cool project! Awesome. I grew up fishin around Sarasota but never caught a tarpon. Snook, reds, trout, flounder, tripletail and cobia were my favorite targets. Now I live by the Chesapeake Bay. I hear there are tarpon around the Eastern Shore during the summer. A client said he saw a school in a canal behind his house in Newport News, close to where I live in Hampton. Hopefully I'll catch a silver king up here. I fish at the Fort Monroe piers often because I like the crowd there. It's fun to see the same crew often, especially in the Fall when trout and redfish are stacked up in a hole by one of the piers. I know 2 guys who tag fish and I've helped tag 100s of trout, reds, flounder, and sea bass. I like trying to help atudy the fish to get the rules right.
