Whoever picked Allison to be part of this project deserves a raise. What a load of responsibility and I’m sure there will be teams that don’t even show up with a car that runs right. @@macattack1392yes, Tommy and Allison are a solid couple and we’re high school sweethearts and if I’m not mistaken (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) but I heard they were finally engaged (I hope so, they complete each other in the most amazing ways!) they will make an incredible married couple one day Once you start catching up on some of the older videos, you’ll see just how amazing both of these families are and all of us out here are blessed to be able to get to share in their everyday lives but what is really amazing is the raw, natural talent each one, billy, Tommy, & Allison have behind the wheel of these cars! It’s just amazing and I’m proud to have been able to witness them grow up and become the feared drivers & competitors they are while at the same time they are some of the most respected and humble individuals I’ve seen in decades!! They aren’t my kids and I’m in no way related, but Lord I’m proud of them as well as the rest of the family and Scuba Steve too, he’s really turned out to be a shining star that filled a needed role at the time it needed filling. All 3 (really 4 if you count Jeremy’s channel) channels are just incredible and you don’t even have to be a drag racer to get sucked in and addicted to this families lives. We’ve joked around in comments before that if Bill would video himself doing nothing but mowing the grass on his John Deere mower, I bet he’d pull in 100k views in 24 hours, lol 😂. They are just that all American family we all always dreamed of becoming. If you really want to see something amazing tho, look in their library for a video titled “Shiners”. It is downright amazing and is over 2 million views now. It’s a 45 minute video that billy kinda dreamed up/wrote, they made the script up as they went and it’s got them running moonshine trying to dodge Barney Fife in an old Ford Galaxie 500 and Molly is the cute waitress who tries to steer Barney’s attention off catching the boys and on her peach pie at the diner. It’s just a phenomenal short, homemade movie everyone will enjoy watching.

We all benefit from learning this technology and seeing the trial and error as you learn it anyone that isn't a trained Mopar tech has to go through the same trials and tribulations you are. Thank you for showing us the whole process and sharing the entire learning experience. Jeff has a unique ability to be able to show his thought process and to be able to share the logic he uses to make his decisions. Tommy has a gift in having knowledgeable mentors to help him at a point where his mind is thirsty for knowledge you can see that he has a bit of Jeff and a lot of his dad in him. Allison is probably one of the best students a guy could want to teach! You can see her soaking in the knowledge and she isn't afraid to say when she doesn't know and she is smart enough to know the right questions and who to go to for the right answers! This team has a bright future ahead of them, Thank you all for sharing your journey with us! please share the details so me can plan to be there and support you!

Looking forward to the videos every week, on this build, with that being said, Every welder is going to comment on something different, I have no complaints just saying, 19 years as a professional I've always dragged the beads instead of pushing, unless I'm running flux coil vertical, and you don't have to whip it, or fish your bead, however they call it, just a steady smooth bead, if that helps.

I am sure you have used that floor to measure the weight ratio of the truck, but I have started using a laser level to shim my four-point scales level and it has made a huge difference in the weight bias. I just tape my spots where I want to put the scales, roll the car out, then level scales (if needed) then bring car back in and set it on scales with shims. I have also been bitten by the front tires not being straight, and having caster, which always makes it bias due to tires moving vertical when you turn the tire. Might be part of the reason why the front is so different on the front side to side. Just trying to help you in your build! Have fun I'm rooting for ya to win!
