Where you located and how many acres do you have. I’m 81 years old and was raised farming with horses. I really love mules

Morrison TN. We don’t have much here where we are now. 10 acres. And we don’t row crop like we did. We still do a little gardening with the mules and mostly just log now. Thanks for watching and commenting

You can buy a hook like that. Tow trucks use them on cars.

She didn’t with one line anyway lol. Of course I had only been working her here about 60 days or so. So she was still learning. I really enjoyed her. She was a really good mare. And I have her mule baby on the farm now. And fortunately for me she’s just like her momma. She’s a yearling now.

if I may , the tags are to short , ?????😀
@zachodommulelogging Жыл бұрын
You want to keep your tugs as short as possible without hitting your animals feet while walking. The shorter the tugs and load is the easier it’ll pull. Plus the shorter things are the more lift you’ll get. That is especially handy when skidding logs to keep them from digging in. So, you don’t want long tugs unless you want to load your animals a little heavier or in cases like a walking plow, make it go deeper. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting friend. Take care
