I also have the semi-agressive on 2017 Blizzards. One is 600 2 stroke and the other 900 ACE 4 Stroke. My wife noticed right away, just amazing. Mike not sure if you did this or not, they mention on line and in the instructions, about setting ski-toe etc to be zero. So no 3/8 toe in, they want you to set this no toe in or out. I did do this but not sure exactly how critical it is to do. Just picked up after waiting, 2022 Enduro 900 Ace as well. (I need the throttle to flip forward, due to a thumb issue, game changer for me). I did find if you are really hammering things through turns, you will need to add some pressure. On the 2017 is a little tough where they springs are made to twist by hand, super tough to do when cold and by yourself. The 2022 they went back to the 5 clicks using a tool. Even with the ability to dial in the carbide by turning the adjustment on the ski, which definitely works, once you put the the Snow Tracker on - it is just way easy to turn. The best test is coming down from a lake blast and letting off the throttle, sleds will dart the most at this time, this stays true and still total ease of control. Let me know what you thinking on setting the ski distance?
@sledaddicz
@sledaddicz 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff. Yes, we set the ski-toe to be zero. This is extremely important to do. We did loosen the front track spring to add a little bit of bite as you are right, sometimes they are a little too light. You are confusing two things - the 5 clicks using the tool is for the rear springs which purely control your suspension sag, they have nothing to do with ski pressure (that is all the front track shock/spring). Cheers, Mike
@Jbmanzx6
@Jbmanzx6 2 жыл бұрын
@@sledaddicz Hey Mike, thanks for the update here. Sorry for the confusion, actually on the 2017 Blizzards the front shocks that you adjust for ski pressure, these you adjust by hand, their is no 5 settings that you use the tool for. We didn't play with the front track spring as you did, so far the added ski pressure works awesome. Thanks again and keep up the video's - good stuff!!!

Have used the Aggressive Snowtracker setup for the past couple years on my sled and have to say as long as you have the knowledge and ability to tune your suspension properly and also follow instructions such as the toe in being set to Zero, this set up can solve a multitude of issues with lightness, control, darting and improve overall handling immensely.. Looking to give Bergstroms a try for my teenaged daughter and son as they have become much more aggressive riders over the past couple years but I don’t believe the Trackers would be a good fit for them. One of those you either Love them or Hate them kind of thing. Plus they are already starting to get faster than me so no need to help them too much in the Twisty’s.
@b.pur9981
@b.pur9981 2 жыл бұрын
The average rider would not know how to tune the suspension properly, I believe that this is the problem with STs. And definitely don’t tell your insurance company you’re using them. Because it’s been published that more Snowtrackers are on sleds that are in accidents than any other wear bar. And this is believable because if the rear suspension and limiter strap is not adjusted properly, then they bite hard…..

I have the same issue on my Mach Z. It is darty but the most concerning issue for me is the track spin. It is stock as the dealer setup. Is there something I can do to get a better bite on take off. The track spins to no end and much lesser sleds is walking away from me because im in one spot spinning. There are 152 1.450 woody mega bite studs down the center of the track, the track is the ice ripper. Maybe a 2 ply track for next year with 288 studs? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I find Snowtrackers to be way too finicky. They get stones in them and really can cause a lot of accidents when installed by people who don’t know how to tune suspensions. Deuce Bars are a much better option, perhaps even Slim Jims would be a better use of Motovvans help. At the end of the day, to each their own. I was not impressed with how quick these Snowtrackers broke down on me. They only did one thing right unfortunately and ended up leaving more holes in my skis than were needed. They’re also honkin expensive, although Deuce Bars are also expensive.

@@bamcustoms7327 so you understand, Sledaddics replied to me saying “to each their own” and I agree with that. But then they tell you that Snowtrackers are the better choice. So full disclosure here. I was in a near fetal snowmobile accident 2 years ago, where I separated my shoulder and due to Covid never really rehabed properly. Since this accident, 2 sleds, 2 seasons ago, I have done extensive testing, multiple sets of skis, and on a 2 stroke I have come up with the best set up for the lightest steering. I have had the aid of working with Accelerated Technologies, who have more experience than many riders combined as well as my best friend who is a licensed BRP mechanic now on his 32nd new sled in a row. He owns a 2022 Mach and he also uses Deuce Bars in favour of Snow Trackers, and he has tested more skis and runner combos than I have. As mentioned, STs definitely do work well on a sled that has been properly set up for them and on groomed trails where there’s plenty of snow, this sweet spot is far too narrow for me to put that kind of resources into. Like I said, I did back to back testing with 5 sets of skis and many different wear bars. Until I see that data elsewhere, I will continue to use what I use only because it works best for me. Not for any other rider simply because they don’t ride my sled. So to answer you, I’m suggesting you try them, to my knowledge there are 3 sizes, and also I do have them installed and they work really well. Not flawless because nothing is. But with my bad shoulder, I’m not putting anything else on.

Seeing a lot of comments on the 900R being heavy on the front end. I'm really curious if people have made any changes the setup to suit their riding style or are they just riding it as delivered? I have my 900R setup to be light on the front end, I find it takes some effort on initial turn in but then it carves hard with no inside ski lift, even on the stock ski runners. My shoulders are sore, but thats from the 900R pulling like a Mother Trucker, hell I got blisters from hanging on! Curious???? If you have made changes to your suspension and still find the 900's to handle well, like my comment If you are riding as delivered, than yes it's heavy on the ski's, and please dislike my comment. You won't hurt my feelings, Everybody gets a trophy!

Hi there. I made a ton of adjustments to the suspension - especially the front track shock and nothing made it feel any lighter. Sure it carved but riding it 300 kms in a day and you were absolutely beat. Not what I was looking for. It's supposed to be a big miler and you need it to be super comfortable all day out there. The snowtrackers cured it and made it awesome that even my wife who has no experience snowmobiling can ride it. It's like power steering. Cheers, Mike
