I just get so jealous of these build videos. That was a nice looking guitar and close to what I would build if I didn't already have a similar one. I was thinking about buying some tools to do intonation and setup today, so I may have to check out Music Nomad and see how they compare to StewMac. I didn't read the description, but I thought while I was watching like "this seems like it's going backwards."

Looks pretty awesome. The only thing I’d of done differently is used gold screws everywhere. And I hate gold. But it would have given an awesome contrast. And matched the pickguard look.

Woah! White Tele with solid RW neck - how beautiful is that?? 'Very' is the answer.... That's giving me palpitations. Great choice. The only possible thing I might have different would be the colour of the pickguard, but anyway, let's not quible. Looks fantastic. I assume that the body came readily painted, or did you have to do that? What's your opinion of the body? - it's hard to tell from a video. Does it match the quality of the neck?

Looks like you've tinned the wires before putting them in the quick connect. I thought of doing that, but Obsidianwire says use bare wires I assume since if any solder comes off in the quick connect it'll be impossible to get out. I just bought their Les Paul split coil kit to throw in a Studio so I'm curious.

I put those electrosocket jacks on most of my teles. Have you needed one on your Japanese tele? My Japanese one is the only stock one I've not had come loose.

Now all you need is to airbrush the body with a stencils of all the great Tele players. Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, Danny Gatton, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Johnny Hiland, James Burton, Brent Mason, John 5, Roy Nichols, Jerry Donahue, Will Ray, Keith Richards, Redd Volkaert etc etc Jimmy Page played the lead to "Stairway to Heaven" not a Gibson Les Paul, but a Telecaster. Jimi Hendrix recorded "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze", "Fire", "The Wind Cries Mary" and "Little Wing" using a Telecaster he borrowed from bassist Noel Redding.
