STORY
Bhuvanakkadu is a Tamil drama film directed by V.M. Mohan and starring Vignesh, Divya, Thravesh, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Anumohan in the lead roles. The film tells the story of a young man who returns to his native village to find that it is on the brink of destruction due to a mining project.
The film opens with Karthik (Vignesh), a young man who has been living in the city for several years, returning to his native village, Bhuvanakkadu. Karthik is shocked to see that the village has changed drastically since he left. The lush green fields have been replaced by barren land, and the once-vibrant village is now a ghost town.
Karthik soon learns that the village is on the brink of destruction due to a mining project that is being carried out by a powerful corporation. The corporation has been forcibly evicting villagers from their homes and destroying their land in order to mine for minerals.
Karthik decides to stay in the village and fight against the mining project. He rallies the villagers together and organizes protests against the corporation. However, the corporation is determined to go ahead with the project, and they use violence and intimidation to try to silence the villagers.
Karthik and the villagers must use all of their courage and determination to save their village from destruction. The film is a powerful story about the struggle of ordinary people against the forces of greed and exploitation.
