Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean machine was originally puyo puyo, they just localized it for the US with Sonic characters since the audience here was more familiar with that franchise.

I thought this was from the Carnival Edition of Puyo Pop Fever, man were we wrong. The assets were taken from Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary. Arle used the voice of her shouting "Bureindamedo" / Brain Dumbed with the attack animation for Thunder. Why use the danger music from Puyo Puyo Sun? It could've been left alone to be consistent with games after Puyo Pop Fever. At least you kept Bayoen and Heaven Ray as it is. Very clever MysteryYoshi. It's like you own the world. I visit your web page Puyo Nexus occasionally. You haven't uploaded anything for 11 years...

I like the mods you added to this. I know and believe they're mods because the playable characters are: Amitie Raffine Arle Carbuncle Accord Klug Rider Tarutaru Popoi Hohow Bird Oshare Bones Yu Ocean Prince Frankensteins Dongurigaeru Onion Pixy You can't actually play as or go up against Satan in Puyo Puyo Fever. Unless you can on a console other than DS? And the music is different.

You know how Arle's dropset has always been all double puyo? If she had a REAL dropset, this would be it. It's well-balanced, with a heavy focus on offense. I don't think this is quite as impressive as it seems but it's still cool. There are only 3 colors on the board which means that large combos are easier to get but the opponent is also bound by the same rules so I guess it evens out.
