Because of how nerfed combos are against Puyo and the greatly increased counter power Puyo has. The only nerfs that actually worked.

Weeks late to this, but margin time is enabled from match start for Puyo, making its combos even more freakishly strong than they usually are, and moreso the longer the game goes on. Since Zetris wastes a good bit of time comboing, it’s enough to make a big difference most of the time. Non-margin games would see Puyo barely surviving one 4w, and probably not even a second before death.

even later to this, but its because long combos give puyo players time to keep building their chains, and given enough time, a puyo player will easily one-shot tetris. thats why harassment is such a big part of the pvt matchup, and why 4w zetris isnt so successful against puyo.

I was giggling when his 9-chain in round 3 got reduced to a love tap when Zetris PC'd. I have to say that Zetris doing a C4W probably plays more into kuraudo's strengths and those of other Puyo players in that they have more time to build a longer chain. (And yes, I realize I'm several months tardy to the party on that. 😂😂)

@@johnathanpatrick6118 Yep, puyo is a hard counter to C4W. For people who don't puyo, like me, the counter is fast early damage to limit the height of their well. I've had good success with stuff like hachispin into PC, and albatross. PC openers are good too, if you're quick and have a followup. And most four widers are one trick ponies, and when you crush their only tactic, they collapse instantly.

直接右に寄せてもIミノの壁を越えられないので、左のブロックに乗せてから横向きにすることで、Sミノを1段持ち上げて壁を乗り越えさせたって流れですね
