It's about being as efficient as possible as fast as you can and having the foresight to make t spins, get downstack combos, etc. Puyo puyo tetris is kind of dumb because 4 wide is broken which makes every match the same. You should check out tetr.io when you get the chance. There's a ranked mode so if you lose a bunch, you'll eventually find people at your level, and there's a desktop client

I mean building the setup in marathon on level 15 Also no it has a limit on rotation/move, if you exceed it it auto locks
@Oshisaure6 жыл бұрын
He said in PPT. In some other games (like NullpoMino with the right settings or Tetris DS) there's no limit indeed. However nowadays most official games do have a hard limit on lock delay resets. The only way I could see this happen is if you manage somehow not to make the I piece touch the ground ever, which maybe is possible but I doubt it. Edit: There is a way to keep the I piece off the ground indeed but PPT seems to have a wallkick limit implemented as well since after ~10 times doing that the piece just locks on the ground.

SRS is good for VS, ARS is good for 20G survival ARS in a competitive VS game might feel like Ti's World Rule Tho seriously I wish all spins counted cause most people learnt the T-spin setups but they're not aware of what you can do in SRS. I personally believe a whole lot of different setups could spawn from all-spin and it'd be beautiful.
@Manu-ei2yj7 жыл бұрын
Until then back to Nullpomino because it's the only fangame that I'm aware counts all type of spins, even fucking O's. Tho I also agree that every spin type should count. Also add 180 spins too ala Nulpo.

@marcohueber27135 жыл бұрын
It's when a tetrimino has enough kinetic energy to destroy everything in it's path A soft dropped tetrimino will instead bounce like a ball, but the number of bounces will depend on it's shape and angle of impact A spin is when a tetrimino like a cat tries to enter a hole that's just too small, ending up imprisoned by it's own curiosity :D

@MarioFan587YT6 жыл бұрын
Lilla Oshisaure However if you make a mistake, most players who aren't familiar with the spin mechanics would probably try to just fill it in by clearing a line or two, then filling in a hole, and clearing some more. The spinning mechanic could probably accomplish the same thing. I swear, I've seen way too many players try to play Puyo Puyo Tetris the NES way.
@Oshisaure6 жыл бұрын
True, but one could also argue that if you know how to play you don't need those spins. But tbh, if all spins counted, people would know a lot more about the entirety of the rotation system, and not just T.

@Oshisaure4 жыл бұрын
Tetris has evolved a lot in the 35 years it's been around, and one of the biggest changes is that a rotation can move the piece when it would otherwise rotate inside a wall. The way it does it is determined and documented though, so we can learn where the game send our pieces. Combine that with the fact that pieces can stay on the ground a bit without locking and that's how the stupid moves in this video are possible.
