This song goes incredibly hard, but I never thought the music video would show Puzzle as non plussed as this. We've seen high energy music videos from him and his brother before but for some reason I totally get why the song with the highest energy, and one about how one can hide in love due to its properties demands a colder approach. Its like being fed up with the euphoria and loss of love, the give and take, and the muddied truth in love and relationships which can lead to breakdowns in communication, self hatred but eventually growth. Love is truly a wonderful place to hide, but getting off the merry go round doesn't mean love leaves you, it means you are courageous enough to confront the world as it truly is, given you are open minded enough to see everyone and their opinions as equal. Everyone is deserving of love, but to truly crystallise love is to risk jeopardising it with sentiment that seems to go against principles of love such as nurture, support, amendable viewpoints, care, trust. Demons hide in these places and must be rooted out before they grow too big to tackle. Oh, also I really liked the line "Rough in the middle, soft around the edges". I felt that one big time.

The shifting-distorted-card-deck flipping sound in this song during those foghorn segments went beautifully with the waterfall and the windmill in the beginning. If I could visualize that sound into an image, it would be those two. Maybe even a deck of cards shuffling as well, but I digress. Excellent production and sound design. Hope I can collaborate with fletcher or enjoy anytime in the future with my brand consumer.
