There's a laughing noise in this song during the bridge that sounds a lot like the call of a territorial bird where I live, in Australia. First couple times I listened to this song I thought one of them was coming to 'swoop' me (when they dive-bomb pedestrians in the head for walking beneath their nesting trees) and, I ducked and wove like I was being shot at, middle of the street.

G-g-g-g-gotta say Honestly, when you look at me It's like a gun goes off, deep inside of me I can hardly move I can barely breathe, near your features The t-t-t-t-t-t-trouble is It's just so obvious I still see all the lines, of surgery remnants Where you cut away Left your flaws behind, in the ether F-f-face of puzzle pieces That don't fit together Puzzle pieces That don't fit together It's never right But you just can't move on You can't decide Take away or put on Your design But you won't stop working A masterpiece In the flesh, it's your puzzle It's your puzzle It's yours D-d-d-doctor's hands Carry out the plans To take you all apart and put you back again Your face is canvas And your own body serves, as your easel It's just, it's just, it's just so hard to quit When you're hooked on it You're just a junkie craving one more plastic fix Keep you up to date With all the latest trends, of the seasons F-f-face of puzzle pieces That don't fit together Puzzle Pieces That don't fit together It's ever right But you just can't move on You can't decide Take away or put on Your design But you won't stop working A masterpiece In the flesh, it's your puzzle It's your puzzle It's yours

Ngl it kinda sounds like transgenderism to me.. And i feel bad to think this song like this. (Since i actually have some trans friends) but the lyrics just fit the subject a little too well not to ignore..
@thatslegit3 жыл бұрын
And when i mean a little too well i meant 100% The reference to the subject is uncanny. From the clear scares to what they once were. Cant decide if they made the right decision. ("Take off or put on" = dystopia) And yet they continue on trying to complete themselves from all they did to their bodies, yet its like they never are quite there. "They dont fit together" feel like the biggest giveaway on this

So my class did a dance to this song, and it was so fun and so adorable!! We had our show last night. In the two months we've worked on it, I've never once looked up the song or found out the lyrics, even though I loved it and thought it was so fun and cute... But now I look it up and... it's about plastic surgery??? I mean, I knew it wasn't about what we'd danced OBVIOUSLY (our dance was really silly and weird), but plastic surgery? XD
@leandonut8 жыл бұрын
Good job on the dance. And I thought the same thing about this song. It sounds so happy but it's plastic surgery, haha!

Donut Dunker i thought it was about life, every puzzle piece resembling choices of life. If a choice doesn't go well then that little piece doesn't fit, and since it's your puzzle (your life) then only you can say weather a puzzle piece really fits or not. No matter which puzzle piece ppl might say is best in certain areas. That's what I thought. Guess we hear how we feel.

I know there's already an original video for this song, but here's what I can picture from my own view (since obviously I'm a psychopath): (Beginning piano theme) A high school girl wakes up, smiling, because it'll be prom night. But she's wary, nervous; she still has no one to ask out. She's hoping on someone else asking HER out, of course, but she doesn't have that kind of luck at the moment. (Other instruments join in) She's at school, shoving her stuff into her locker and fixing her brunet hair into a beautiful braid and smiling in the small mirror. She closes the locker door to see a boy with red, nerdy glasses that was standing shyly behind it, smiling a little as well. She makes a disgusted face and leaves. (Actual lyrics start) ("I g-g-g-g-gotta say, when you look at me, it's like a gun goes off deep inside of me")The girl is at a table, watching a blonde boy from afar. He looks at her and glares, she tries to smile back. There's a slight bit of a scene where an x-ray is shown through to her heart. It beats quickly. Now, she's walking down the hall, the boy with glasses barely seen from behind her, watching her silently with a small smile. The girl is watching the blonde talk with some friends. He sees her watching and goes over to her and slaps her. ("F-f-f-face of puzzle pieces! That don't fit together~ Puzzle pieces! That don't fit together~") And you know, the girl goes to prom at the same time the chorus goes off the second time, the blonde guy is there, he bad-mouths her, the boy with the nerdy red glasses beats the crap outta him, they dance together, all is happy. But, BUT, Then the girl wakes up again and sighs, running her hand through her hair, and makes the mistake again. LESSON LEARNED, BUT NOT FOR HER.
@jordynensor20815 жыл бұрын
how does this make you a psychopath
@gingermaniac54843 жыл бұрын
Only thing I can think of is using abuse as a plot line as punishment to a functional girl for not dating a specific boy who she hasn’t been shown to have any relations so far. Which means that the universe force has something against her or that other boyokid IS GOD But that’s more of a result of having “nice guy tm gets the girl” trope be the only idea young adult romance writers have other than love triangles It’s not exactly A lack of empathy, just being taught that tropes are coolio Which is sure. I’m tired.
