Love these videos on a Saturday, has helped me a lot. Have managed to solve some of the quiptic, and Monday cryptic in the Guardian, using tips picked up. I think William Tell used a crossbow rather than a bow and arrow didn’t he?

Try googling "simply daily puzzles" - the site offers a very approachable cryptic that follows the same conventions. Ideal for beginners!

Guardian quiptic is free online and fairly accessible

Yep guardian quiptic is a good start, though also check their Monday cryptic it’s sometimes slightly easier I find depending on the setter
