As a colorblind person myself, when i tell people who i only know for a short time they automatically think its all black and white type and ask me what EVERY SINGLE COLOR IN THE ROOM IS and when i get them correct they go "your not colorblind"... One of my pet peeves...so annoying lol.

As someone who is actually colour blind (no colour perception at all. My cone cells are completely gone) I find people with colour deficiency like red/green calling themselves colourblind offensive. You're not blind to the colour you just can't process it.

They always think it's worse than it is, or really sad that I don't see the full splendor of rainbows. Wow never considered that, must be weird to see those lights up everywhere for people who are red/green colorblind heh I know this has just recently been a problem in the NFL again when they used uniforms for both teams that look almost identical. Given how high a percentage of men have it, it's strange that we so often forget to even consider the issue... but I suppose we do the same with left handedness as well.

Interesting tidbit of information. Dogs can see colour, just not as many as humans. They can see blue and yellow hues (with some variation, sort of brownish hue). That is why when shopping for toys (if the dog plays with them), it is better to get one that is one of those colours.
