They're really cute kitties. Like most cat toys, it works as designed for one kitty, but maybe not for the other. No matter how many reviews a human looks at, in the end all you can do is try it and see... which is what cat toy makers count on -- humans buying five or ten cat toys for every one toy the particular cat actually plays with. Twice.

Good review and fun to watch...I don't have a cat anymore but it's a thing I've learned with having one...Never give em treats for nothing otherwise they take em for granted and won't eat the ''regular'' food after cuz you spoil them. Same concept can be used for humans too actually ! Peace

does your kitty eat dry food? if you get him/her on an all wet food diet, more than likely overweight issues will go away.

Floppycats yes i fed her with dry food. i've read somewhere that dry food helps cats for their teeth since they are tougher to chew but 2 weeks ago i realized that she doesn't drink water and doesn't pee much. it scared me so i started to add water to her dry food. i think it is also working but i will probably change it to wet food. do you have any advise on calories or portions with wet food? she is 4 years old 8kg/17.6 pounds small type street cat. excuse my english btw

Mehmet Aksoy if you only have her on wet food, i don't think you'll have a problem with wet food. unfortunately the teeth thing with dry food is a myth. i give my cats 3-4 small cans of wet food a day depending on how hungry they are.

Love your cats! I had a Ragdoll, Smokey, Lord Morgan. He passed away this year in January from kidney failure. I plan to get another floppykit soon. In the meanwhile, I enjoy your kitties and the cool things you do to entertain them! :-)

Floppycats Smokey was a few days away from his 17th birthday :'(. I loved him so much. He was a dumped kitty in a suburban town and was given to us. Smokey was a year old then. He was oodles of fun...he was also a thief. He stole my bras (naughty boy) and a bag of gummy bears and Swedish fish jellies, hiding them under our sofa. Smokey even hid my contact lens case...cat was a kleptomanic! :-D! Every Christmas, we had to put Bitter Apple spray on our Christmas tree lights or the Smokester would chew thru them. In spite of that, he was one of the best cats in the world. I still have his sister, a Russian Blue named Natasha.

I have been feeding my horses with "slow feeders" because it slows them down & helps with digestion. I also noticed that my gelding is less irritable with my mare at feeding time. They pull out the hay like tissue. I had the same thought process with my 2 indoor cats, to slow them down, make them "work" for they're food, but I had just been scattering their food all over the floor. This is brilliant! My Manx is well behaved, but the Siamese has been chewing computer cords, jumping on the dogs to play, & knocking my indoor plants off the stand, knocking stuff off the kitchen ledge to watch the rabbits outside. He is bored & has far more energy to expel than the other cat!!! I am going to make a few of these using some shoe boxes I have laying around, & put cut up egg cartons they will have to move around in there to find the food. Thank you for the video!! You may have just saved my house plants & my wallet from buying yet another internet cord, lol

+Floppycats thank you for that info! I looked into pica & he doesn't seem to be missing anything in his diet, he looks amazing compared to when I first rescued him. I have a ledge that goes around the whole family room up high & put up cat shelves so he could go up there & "get away" to lay on his bed. He is such a social cat though, I suspect our Manx who is more partial to my dogs and refuses to play with him may cause him some stress. She will play with the dogs & he runs over to play- she swats him & hisses everytime. I really wish they got along! She doesn't bully him, but when he wants to play she won't. I'm curious if that is why he finds other things to occupy his time? I honestly don't know!

+Floppycats I have watched a few of "my cat from hell" but that was before we adopted Kanter. I bet it is how Kindle is treating him that is causing his behavior issues, but I'm not sure how to get her less hostile towards him. I will say that she's much better than she was at first. She doesn't go looking to bully him, I wouldn't call her a bully either, but he continues to go up to her seeking friendship & she usually growls a few seconds & he walks away.

Your kitties are so adorable. Whenever I watch your videos, I still sort of teary because I lost one of my cats (the one in in my profile) in November of 2015 and Minou, my other kitty, has put on a whole pound from eating too much and because he doesn't have his "big brother" to chase around the house. Minou's a very jealous cat and used to get up from wherever he was and come running if he saw me giving love to his big bro. So, I don't think he'd be very happy if I brought a new kitten or cat home. BTW, this looks like an interesting toy for some cats but definitely not for those who are "watching their figure". LOL xx

The inside divisions make it a lot more interesting for cats. Sure, you could duplicate those too, but how much is your time (or "free time") worth? The toy goes together in minutes and is very sturdy. It would probably take someone an hour, at least, to construct something this detailed and well-made. It would cost you more at minimum wage to gather the materials, work out the proper design and make it.

Wow Gee! What are the treats called? Cos you can see that your cats knew straight away that you had treats & they obiously love them, here in Australia, we get bugger all variety in treats for cats, my cats dont even like the 2 varietys that i have seen in our supermarkets. the treats in this video for this cat puzzle toy are whole life pet treats - which are just freeze dried chicken breast - which you could make yourself or find in a pet store - they are one ingredient because they are just freeze dried muscle - i also usually ALWAYS have links in the about section of my videos to the products that appear in the video =)
