one of the rarest things that made me happy when i was a child was waching my favorites animes and humming with the ops and ending songs, its sad but i was really happy during those moments, saiyuki was one of my favorites , i loved everyting about it, "for real" and "alone" are my favorite songs from this anime, i miss how happy and carefree i was during thoses days

This was the song that paved the way to all of the japanese music i listen to today. Around 11 years ago a girl i knew in elementary school gave me a cd that had all of the full songs from the saiyuki series. This was the first track on that cd. Thank you for finally allowing me a glimpse into the artist behind this masterpiece.

Unfortunately mikuni is not mainstream singer. But she's among and still among my top 3 female soloist (favorite). The other two also not really mainstream.. maaya sakamoto and chihiro yonekura. I dont care really. Theyre really good eventhough not receive major success.
