PVC IV is my all-time favorite BMG song and it was honor to play it with the full band for the first time! Fun fact: Blue Man Group's PVC Instrument in Vegas is set up differently than every other US venue's. (The main difference being that it is larger with three tiers of notes, instead of the original design of two rows.) Note-wise it's more chromatic than their other design which technically makes more sense, but it messes with my brain when I've most studied / played the old setup in previous jams!

I also noticed it's not labeled like the world tour one witch very similar. Does the color indicate the note letter or is it just to memorize the song?

@@CatBot007 I've heard interviews where they describe both. It's to help with memorization, note letters and to simply play into their creative world even more.

I assumed that the full band would have been with ya on this one too as Drumbone was but I still squealed with delight when I heard the band join in. This song is, by far, my favorite BMG song. This made me smile so much which was desperately needed today Thank you for sharing this, Kent!

Thanks! In this case, there’s not much else to the story. I mentioned to one of the Blue Men I was coming to Vegas and the management team followed up to invite me and my friends to attend soundcheck and shoot some content together. When we rolled up, they handed me the IEM headset and let me partake in whatever I was comfortable playing! (Which were just PVC IV and Drumbone this time. They also ran Creature Feature but I’m not familiar with those drum parts.) After that, we said goodbye and enjoyed the show later that night!

I think he has tried to apply any times in the past with his pvc music skills but they kept rejecting him. But he kept doing what he loved to do and look at him now. It’s crazy what talent and motivation can do!

I wonder if each actor has their own version of the drop or how many remixes of this song have been played. Most just get right in to it like in the studio recording version, but some do like a slow ramp up, and some sound alot like your drop

I am noticing something. You have a slight rock in your shoulders that the BMG don't have, particularly when alternating notes at the extreme ends of the Tubes. I think if you had become a Blue Man, you wouldn't have developed that rock. It is also significantly more pronounced in everything else I've seen from you. It's not bad, just... Interesting.
