I thought you did a great job explaining everything in this video. I was also leaning towards strength and perception on my staff and bow. I like how you explained about stacking either evasion and endurance, I guess evasion is better for me. Don't know why people are complaining, I felt the video was super helpful even though it wasn't tailored to any specific build.

Probably worth mentioning that this will change over time. Once endurance takes over as the better defensive stat at higher tiers, the perception meta drops a bit.

Pve gear is pointless. You can complete pve content with main quest gear. PvP gear is what you’re aiming for which you can also use for pve.

I love playing Staff/wand but from a dps perspective and plan on doing small scale/solo pvp. My biggest question is: Should i put much into dex for the extra max dmg rolls on crit or focus more on perception and wisom for the Min/max damage?

ine PVE you def push DEX and WISDOM OVER EVERYTHING without over spending to much to make sure your min-max attack is as high as possible

Seems straightforward, dont want to get hit take evasion, dont want to take big numbers of damage take endurance. Unless Im missing something.

There’s a meta progression at play as well. On a server, evasion is stronger early before hit bonuses are easily accessed. Later, you hear towards endurance and evasion falls out of favor for many classes.

I don't get it how is perception a priority for pvp healer, I am staking max hp and the 2 mele reductions and leaning on wisdom for mana regen. around 14k hp and I survive a lot of the bursts. I get landing a sleep can prevent a ton of damage too but if I survive usually my party survives too, so I made that a prio.

STR and Perception are the two main PVP stats. Perception is to help land your CC abilities and damage abilities. For support, to land heals on allies, hit is not required. But healing allies is typically not your only role in group support

If you run wand you are a healer yes. Healer is a bit of a misnomer in tan, because the meta is to take the minimum amount of healing and focus primarily on dps, especially in pve. Early on healers feel more necessary, but later once mechanics are known you barely have to heal at all.

You are primarily a healer yes, but can DPS with the combo as well.

The way I interpret this is you want to configure your gear for pvp but just reset stats on your character depending on the situation, if im wrong then you failed 😂. But seriously I think you need to go archerype soecific for a video like this and make separate ones, caster. Tank, dps ect to make it easier to follow

It really just depends on if you’re a casual player or not. If you’re casual and not interested in the PvP aspect of the game, then sure, go for PvE gear. But if you want to be competitive, you absolutely go for PvP gear.

Nope, if you intend to do any pvp at any level, your focus is on pvp gear. You can supplement a pvp build for pve very easily, and as it is now, you can clear all the pve content in the game in green gear with blue weapons.

You can only run 3 a day and if thats all the content youre gearing for that is insanely casual. If you are gearing for PVE and PVE only, you are indeed a casual player. ALL content in the game can be done with green gear.. It's all mechanics. So what would make a strictly PVE player not a casual? Genuinely curious.

to some extent i agree with this. For some reason PVP games forgot about player agency. I think it feels better to have CC immunity for a brief moment after hard CCs
