@@Far1988 We are a team. Right now from our side we are two people working on it, one with 80% of his time, one with 20% of his time. But we have freelancers who support us with sound design and 3D assets so far, and we might get more. Barely any game is made by one person - it is often a good story, but usually there are at least some freelancers around. Like, if you check the credits of a game from a solo dev. Usually i think solo-dev means most work was done by oner person, but not all of the work.

Further US military presence in Germany was not for occupation purposes, but as a defensive measure against possible Soviet attack, and in case you ever doubted Soviet aggression toward post war Germany, remember they tried to choke off West Berlin and starve everyone to death even as American, RAF, and even Luftwaffe pilots attempted and succeeded to feed West Berlin via cargo aircraft. This came to be known as the Berlin Airlift, to say nothing about the later Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain. Germany has had to toe this delicate line ever since, and their people have done an outstanding job of it, and I ask that you show some respect. Please.

Compound words are awesome! We Swedes likewise have a language based almost exclusively on them. It really is the highest form of blessing for a Germanic language! :D The longest Swedish word I know of is: "Spårvagnsaktiebolagsskensmutsskjutarefackföreningspersonalbeklädnadsmagasinsförrådsförvaltarens" Which means: “Belonging to the manager of the depot for the supply of uniforms to the personnel of the track cleaners’ union of the tramway company”.

I feel like this pushes the bounds of what can be called "a word". This is just a set of four words slammed together. It's normal to have compound words, but the powers that be in modern Germany (this isn't a ground-up thing, and it's pretty modern) really went hard on trying to fit whole sentences into one "word". I wonder if it's some silly game to boost how many words are in the speech (now you have the four words, plus another word that slams them all together), or so they can say "our speech is clearly das übersprache, ja; we fit ideas that take you a sentence into one word...!" Hacks.

This reminds me of an older anime movie called Memories from 1995. It's about a highly-militarized society whose lives revolve around the maintenance and operation of massive planetary cannon, with little being explained in the way of who they're fighting against, why they're engaged in conflict, or what they're targeting with the shells. It's a bit like 40K. Life is war, everyone knows they're at war, nobody knows why or against who, but the war must continue at all odds.

When I watched it, I remembered a game called Nauticrawl. Although I don't know if in PVKK will be some kind of tutorial, but in Nauticrawl you just sit in some kind of robot and no tutorial, no info who are you, where are you, what are you doing and how the heck you control that thing that you're sitting in. And only after many attempts you start to get info on everything. And also I rermbered a Carrier Command 2 where the tutorial is something like "here's the steering wheel, here's gas throttle, go to the island, capture island, go defeat enemy carrier I don't care how just do it" And you just "how do I use torpedoes, how to get new units, how to transfer units to my ship" and a lot of other questions. What I'm trying to say is if this game something like this or "easy to learn hard to master" then it definetly will be my another favorite game on the list

Idk, big guns like these dont really have a muzzle break...because amount of dust and debris would be just obscene (as well as blastwave) and recoil doesnt really reduces that much.

I love the design as it Hawken's back to some of the early 20th century coastal guns. Reminds me of the low profile mounts that use to be by the panama canal for the 16 inch guns. My only little nit pick is the lack of any recoil, just a little bump back would help really sell the size. Other than that great job!

As a German, I first didn't even realise how this is an unusually long word untill I read the comments. Our language has a lot of these, since you can just merge multiple words together, virtually indefinetly. In English, it's "Planetary Defense Cannon Commander", four words. In German, it's basically still four words, but written as one.
