I'm sure many people have pulled off the combo play but how many times have you countered the combo play? Would love to hear your experiences on it. For me, my total count is...not many times. :D

Do you think maybe wdage actually just wanted farm on regi cuz trev wasn't going to reach a shadow ball and his noctowl was almost at 100 energy

I still remember when it was possible to counter a combo play with your own charge move, that was before it was a 0turn swap

@@rambleitch Unlikely simply because Reis’ switch timer was also up at the same time and he could switch out to Swampert and just hard counter wdage again. Reis wouldn’t let his Trev get locked on down in that scenario.

I love that in almost any other game, in any situation, skipping a turn is a negative. Here, skipping a turn can be a huge move that turns a whole battle in your favor. Waiting that split second to watch for a swap or to line up a CMP sac swap with a 4 turn move. Always play to your win condition.

Awesome tip! You should do the under farm next.

I love the look wdage gives to Reis too, like "good try but I got you!" Then to the camera too, like "did you see that?? Pretty good right??" Super savvy play from wdage, for sure.

That’s me every time. Like the “right” play is the combo so I switch. Always feel like an idiot

Hi there! Watched two of your videos so far and man, I think they give us more information than the absolute most expensive coaching lessons some of the creators give (been there!). So I just wanted to thank you. You explain your thought processes so well. I know I still have a lot to learn (only got to Expert so far), but this is such a great way to delve into how Legend players really do it. I reeeally appreciate this content. Thanks so much for it!

U should do a video on when to throw ur charged moves, if it's a 2 turn vs a 3 turn and 3 turn vs a 4 or 5 turn fast move etc.

A video idea for this series: understanding cmp ties and what to do. There are a ton of mus or mirrors where you know you are going to lose the cmp. Should I switch and catch? Or what?

What are the benefits of the combo play?

Great analysis. On executing combo plays how does it work when you've built up back to back charge moves. With whatever the current mechanic is with fast moves sneaking through, if I have two charged moves stored should I throw the first and then immediately click on the other, or do a fast move and then throw? Would either be more likely to avoid having the opponent catching your combo play (doesn't switch in take up 1 turn or something)?

switching cost 1 turn, except after throwing a charge move for... reasons
