So I've been asked quite a bit to cover PvP which is normally one of my least favorite modes. However, it is very important for resource gain and actually is more strategic than many other games. In this video I'll be showcasing the approach with Team A (Carolina, Thoran, Eironn, Damien, Reinier). Later videos will showcase other teams.

Setting up formations for Arena PVP is such a challenge, especially against leviathans 😅

What would the best Arena formation be for my team comp if I use an all mauler brawler lineup (Rhys / Koko / Shakir / Brutus / Lumont)? Normally I have stuck with Arena map 1 since it gives my Rhys the space he needs to kite and dish out damage while my three front liners do their own thing, but majority of my attackers now have adapted to my comp by using Reinier and a three tank comp (Brutus / Antandra / Thoran) to fend off my frontliners while Reinier teleports their Odie to the back to pincer attack me. What's the best map to counter them in that case?

I recorded a video but never uploaded it using a Mauler comp to successfully counter the Eironn meta. Alsa, Shakir, Reinier, Lumont or Soren, and Rhys. Rhys/Alsa were the main dmg carries. I would TP Soren/Lumont or Shakir depending on the enemy team. That was the ONLY team that worked well for me out of all my Mauler testing.

I would swap Carolina for Arden, especially on offense. Arden combos with Eironn far better than Carolina does (because of his energy build on control mechanic), and you'll also get the 4 unit faction bonus that way.

Yeah, I have recorded other days' worth of PvP in which I use Arden in a different team. I just need the time to edit the videos and start uploading them. I really do like Arden in PvP, he tics quite a lot of boxes for things you want to happen in PvP :D.

I have the Mythic+ Eiron, a supreme Thoran. But I still struggle. Taking their Vala is cool, but I can't kill her before she jumps away. My Caroline isn't build so I'm usually using Cecia + Rowen. One thing I have been trying is stealing their Smokey or Rowen so they don't do anything. But some comps I swap in their Heiwen and just cannot kill her. I don't know why she can be so tanky.

Yeah, the higher you go in PvP the harder it is to win. Sometimes you need to sustain while you get the resources to build up chars. PvP is very different than PvE because enemies aren't quite as scaled

And lost again. Against fucking Heiwen + Lucius + Vala. They don't go down. I killed the rest but those three units. Nah just never going to die. Heiween can tank a Supreme Shakir. Wtf is this broken piece of shit unit? I'm having ZERO fun with this shitty pvp.

Sorry to hear. If you're struggling, try battling the left-most player if possible. Most of the time the match-making makes that person be someone that is under your power. PvP is very tough because its not repeatable like PvE is so you can't retry the same stage repeatedly. It needs a different mindset to approach it.
