In my 400 hours in this game, I have come to realize that having good aim gets you kills but understanding the game will keep you alive. So many situations where me taking the wrong cover or taking the wrong shot results in a lost fight, using your brain in combat is almost as important as hitting those vital headshots.

I spent about 700 hours in Hunt Showdown, still learned about WHEN to PUSH, using the waggle movement, dont repeak the same spot twice. From now on, ima spent my warmup in the training mode, giving my shots some accuracy. Thank you very much for the good and symphatic made Guide! (excuse for my english as well) Greetings, A hunter u helped out there in the wilds :)

Another potential tip for "waggling" when you jump in this game you actually have great mobility mid-air. You can strafe mid-air really well and the game compliments this by letting you jump twice before losing your momentum. Jumping in one direction then strafing mid-air into cover in the adjacent direction has saved me tons of times. Keeps you really unpredictable.

I just started playing this game this weekend and this, among your other guides, are really helping me pick up how to play. I nearly managed to solo a duo but messed up with the second guy and didn't rotate enough and they were able to get me. I must have only been a shot away from getting them but they waggled and I sat there. :P

Another thing is to know your weapons damage if your fighting at range with something like a Winfield don't just don't your only wasting your bullets UNLESS you can hit a headshot because the weaker guns like a Winfield do next to no damage past 50 yards but a gun like a martini Henry (which is my favorite primary) is going to be solid at both close and long range gunfights and in close range it devastates players health which is good especially if your teammate can deliver a quick follow up shot or give you time to switch to secondary and deliver the final blow my go to Loadout is a martini Henry with 1 slot incen ammo 1 slot regular ammo and a Caldwell uppercut with regular ammo

ive found in almost every fps game, wagling using A and W or D and W isa great way to do it. The sideways diagonal motion of movement followed by spiratic mouse movements are very hard to hit, as you are not heading where you are looking, you are moving slightly left or right as well, and you are also changing where you are looking, basically makes it impossible to predict where you are going

I feel like I usually push in after I kill the first person, for duos anyways. Blocking or burning the body(or both if you can) works well for duos and trios, if you see a good time to do it. I never want to give them a chance to revive if I can help it. I'm a console player though so it could be different on PC. Also, concertina bombs can be helpful in multiple situations

My biggest issue is spotting targets. I am beginning to think the 104 fov has a lot to do with it so I'm gonna drop it a bit tonight.
@Oceanium_4 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah fov can make a big difference! I used to have a high dpi and high fov and then lowered both by a lot and I feel I have gotten way better at aiming and spotting targets! Thanks for watching😊

@@Oceanium_ what FOV did you settle on? 90 is too low for me in most games. I'm thinking of trying 94 and seeing if I can go lower or need to sneak up a bit. I just want a decent trade off. Peripheral vs distant viewing.
@Oceanium_4 жыл бұрын
I kind of ended up just dropping my dpi and fov at the same time to pretty low values. I think my fov is the lowest it can go, it was so painful at first but it def has helped in terms of aiming. I think dropping your fov little by little until you reach a point that feels good for you would be the way to do it

This video dosnt stress the importance of rotating enough I'm no pro by any means only a 4 star MMR on xbox butni can't say how many times iv been able to duo wipe a team because of how much I rotate positioning it really is that important I have many clips of myself rotating around and killing both players within a few seconds with either my gun or even a melee weapon

Every time I die two thoughts cross my mind: 1. How tf did I miss there? Guess I need to calm down? (Actually they were waggling and I never had a chance with my Bear's Leg) 2. How tf did I let myself basically just crouchwalk directly towards them the entire fight? Those sweet sweet waggles make all the difference

The art of waggling..:D tbh it feels like we should not beeing able to do that, since they tweaked the revive waggling and the up n down crouch.. The aggresive tip is something that saved my ass a lot while playing as solo but is something that you cant explain to other people. When i see my partner going in chicken mode, when aggro mode is needed..i better shut up (and cry) :D
