I think PVRIS got their chances taken away with the pandemic. If they had gone on tour with Halsey, they would have shed the rock image they got 8 (eight!) years ago. People would have loved their poppier sound, but since they are still know more in the rock adjacent community, people have a hard time of letting go of the sound they came with when they were 20. It's a pity. I absolutely adore the art Lynn puts into PVRIS and so far every song grew on me, but it's always hard to satisfy the rock audience you are not trying to take for a few years. Love Lynn, love PVRIS, wish them all the luck and success they deserve. They are just stuck in the wrong genre community

You missed the point with the rock thing: it's not about just releasing rock music, it's more about how incredible white noise was. Mixing rock with hauting electronics was Amazing. They did that so well, they had their own visuals that were associated with pvris. Remember how huge they were 7-8 years ago compared to now (touring with bring me the Horizon etc...) They were supposed to be the next Big thing. People loved the white noise style because it was unique no other band had a sound like that. I'm sure that if they kept that style they would've been huge by now. I love the hallucinations ep, but my way seemed completely off. These two New songs seem to mix elements from old and New pvris. We will see where they take us

@@jstaged7214 just because people loved it, it doesn't mean they have to do it to be famous. I understand why they were loved so much before, but they have grown out of here a long time ago and guilt tripping them about the old sound is just not fair

White Noise was their best album, so in love with the deep lyrics and the rock. Some of their songs after that were good. But they've taken a weird turn I think. I'm still a fan and await the other songs. Paramore have done a new sound too with their new song.

Know what ya mean, the song my way grew on me and this has some similarities to white noise. I’ve been saying since they released monster they’ve taken a step backwards. They used to have a great combo of rock, pop, and electronic music. But with animal and monster they’ve gone this dark and dirty pop sound, really strange direction. Even the quality and production isn’t as good as AWKOHAH and white noise.

@@metalfinn872 yea paramore went more for a pop sound like 5 years ago or more but they are much more popular than Pvris, I hear paramore on the radio and music videos on tv. That’s why it’s strange that Pvris sound changed into a dirty and dark pop sound and haven’t gone mainstream yet. I like anywhere but here though, monster and animal are kinda meh
