Does the bathroom purple filter comparison @18:25 also have the LIF installed?

This is weird. I have a hand held green laser from amazon that people said it's class 3B 🤷♂and it seems like it throws out insane amount of greens compared to my other green lasers. The thing is...my LIF filters on my pvs14s totally shut out all 3 of my green lasers I have and I can't see a slightest trace of it even at arm length right in front of me. I have no idea how much power Perts 4 can throw at the highest. So can you still see green laser with your LIF at...let's say...at medium output?

The perst units are full power laser aiming devices the super focused beams. At night I can fire my perst 3 at a buddies barn a mile and a half away and he can see the dot. From what I've seen, it is around 20mW with a focal point putting it into the 3B class or "Don't look at it on the wall too long" level of danger. The IR laser is even stronger at about 28mW. Also, the perst at the lowest settings is around 1.5mW and would definitely be blocked by a filter like this. BTW any military grade lasers like the NGAL are waaaaaaay stronger than this, kicking out 80mW on visible high setting.

Where to buy that LIF filter?

Am I tripping here? To my knowledge those filters are only for Analog NV and the Chinese clones are actually Digital NV. . . Also the filter is only to help with normal environments that have bright IR lights. example would be having a team of mates that have IR lasers and illuminators that could shine into your analog goggles blinding and possibly damaging your googles. Analog NV is sensitive and can never be used in the day where as digital NV can.

Awesome, thanks! Yeah just learned the other day that these filters were actually targeted towards the ~1064nm IR range, where rangefinders and designators live; green just happened to be half that wavelength and the interference filter also works for that. Also yup, the 'clones' are mostly digital. But analog image intensifier night vision tech is being made in China; housings and optics by various companies and intensifier tubes by NNVT.

Do you have a supplier for pvs 14 unit minus intensifier tube?

I do. But the seller I got mine from is out of stock at the moment, unfortunately.
