I just finally beat it. From just one plant food on a Repeater with a Pyre Vine on it, I took the Zombot from the 1st phase straight down to the fourth. The Elder must’ve been feeling very generous that attempt, since he gave me another plant food right after that. After all those attempts, I could’ve just bought a plant food and killed him.

@@BandyCampI know, but it was about time, since I had gone like 15-20 attempts across the last few days. Out of those, I only made to the 4th phase twice, and was destroyed shortly after. I don’t know why, Zomboss loved spawning Gargantuars in the worst possible spots, and then buffing them almost every time.
