Firstly, one column of tall-nuts instead of two is better, because it prevents cherry bomb zombies from exploding and hypno-shroom zombies from turning them into tall-nut zombies. Secondly, you just have to be better at shooting corn cobs. In my opinion, if you follow these instructions you will be able to reach 50 flags or even more.

Edit: Unless Ice Shroom zombie frezees all your plants making them defenceless xd These zombies are very dangerous. One Ice Shroom can immobilize all your Cob Canons / Umbrella Leafs and after that losing is only a matter of 3-5 seconds, because Hypno-Shroom zombies, Wintermelon Zombies & Cherry Bomb zombies need only that amount of time to demolish all your remaining defences like Tall-Nuts or Cob Canons. Yep, that's a way I lost. My strategy which contained: 11 cob Canons, 6 Snow Peas in 2nd column, 2 Umbrella Leafs & 4 Twin Sunflowers in 1st column, 6 tall-nuts in 7th column and one Ice Shroom was working pretty well until 17th flag came and Ice Shroom zombie destroyed all my hopes and dreams of getting to the 20th flag immediately after he appeared on a screen. This survival is cool and very unfair at the same time...

I want to suggest a buff for the Hypno-shroom. I see that the Hypno-shroom is still not very useful because it can hypnotize only one zombie. The change that I want to suggest is that the Hypno-shroom can hypnotize more than one zombie, all zombies on the tile of the Hypno-shroom and one tile to the right. The idea here is to make the Hypno-shroom more useful, because when the Hypno-shroom can hypnotize only one zombie and there are too many zombies, the Hypno-shroom doesn't help. I also see that the Hypno-shroom is nocturnal, and it can be destroyed by zombies that can shoot before it's woken up, and even if it's already woken up, they can still destroy it. My suggestion is that ZomBotany zombies cannot hit Hypno-shroom with their projectiles just like Puff-shrooms and Sun-shr9oms.
