Even though Ultimate Shadow Bat is straight up cherryzilla + garlic upgrade, imo it's a downgrade, since it loses it's ability to heal from explosions + it fails at straight up defense, because enemies change lane after bitting it, all that for some questionable poison dot.

I wouldn't consider stuff like Garliczilla, Ruby Umbrella, or Cherry Drone Pumpkin as upgrades, more like sidegrades. They drop some of their abilities in exchange for others. To top it off, all of them can also be switched back to their normal forms by planting another plant back on them.

That's Garliczilla to you, plus another disadvantage the plants have; is that the zombies will move to another position when the zombie takes a bite on Garliczilla.
