Fry the strikethrough was the difference. Since the strikethrough was blocked the frenzy didn't trigger yet but the turn was stored. When the supernova got mogged only one part of the turn triggered which shouldn't have happened since two bonus attacks should've stored that means that the game couldn't handle it.

@@jackiehuang1350 Yes it did remove the blocks. There are two reasons. The first is mime triggered the block and the turn ended since it was on the left which means the game physically couldn't handle the extra bonus attacks. Or the mime garg got blocked and the turn was triggered to end falsely.

The super block blocks a single bonus attack from everything on the field too, the difference here was snorkel had 2 frenzy attacks stored up and the trickster only had 1, which means the entire game mechanic fail difference was: Strikethrew.

10:02 the difference is, that the trickster already did its bonus attacks while activating their block meter. The supernova garg had strikethrough, so it hit the block, recognized it has frenzy, then did a bonus attack in that lane.

The difference between those two games is this Game #1: SuperNova Garg shot and killed 2 plants, so it had 2 bonus attacks. When it got mugged, it still had another bonus attack. Game #2: Trickster + Mime killed 1 plant, then did bonus, and was done. This is my explanation

For 4:18 it happened to me but way longer because there was transfiguration which wasn't being effected by the fire rooster so the rooster kept switching between lanes 1 and 4 until a plant with 1 health went into lane 1 about 5 minutes later lol

8:18 I think what happened was that since it was in the attack phase and it got mogged in the middle of the attack it wasn't really a bonus attack but a simple attack phase since the attack phase was still going as you can currently see meaning it can only work in the attack phase so that explains why the other situation where you trickstered mime and it wasn't in attack phase gets mogged it simply didn't register that it was in the attack phase but the zombie phase so yeah i think its because of the phases not really about the bonus attacks

So I’ve been rewatching this for a while in ny free time now and have drawn out the schematics for the frenzy bonus attack rules. This doesn’t make sense unless Popcap made a special rule about using mog. You are correct though, in that the snorkel should have done 2 bonus attacks. I saw a lot of confusing moments about mechanics, where things went completely different. But I think it's because of mime garg, for some reason when he does his bonus attack - game just forgets about some mechanics that were supposed to happen along with that bonus attack. A good example when Choper bonus-attacked rose and Mime Garg bonus-attacked another flower, Rose killed Mime Garg but did not killed Choper. or when Fry used Frenzy Trickster to bonus-attack garlic, he were supposed to move left and do more bonus attacks to other plants but this did not happen because of Mime Garg, after his bonus attack game forgot to move Trickster and he stayed on his lane. This actually explains a lot of moments.

ok so fry let me explain that game mechanic at 8:33 ok so heres what happen: 1.) the supper nova garg kills 2 plants during its attack phase killing those 2 minions WITHOUT TRIGGERING FRENZY ATTACK PHASE 2.) the plant hero block the initial hit (the attack phase attack) during that time since 2 frenzy attacks are outright hard to set up the program recognizes the 1st one (first frenzy attack) to be a frenzy attack and we know that frenzy attack got nerfed to not being able to hit the player when they just block to prevent more damage while the 2nd hit (2nd frenzy attack) got recognized by the game as a BONUS ATTACK meaning if the zombie got transmogrify/leap/etc. it would not matter because since the order of events was over and thats left was the 2nd hit the game ALWAYS PRIORITIZE TRICKS/SUPERPOWERS THAN BONUS ATTACKS SET ON A ZOMBIE EVEN IF THEY ARE REPLACED THE BONUS ATTACK WILL BE TRANSFERED TO THAT ZOMBIE 3.) at 9:24 the reason why the trickster and mime did not attack is because they started their BONUS ATTACKS (Phase) FIRST meaning the game will PRIORITIZE the bonus attack and IF...IF THE PLANT HERO BLOCKS THE BONUS ATTACKS ARE BLOCKED/SKIPPED So transmogrify wont do anything other the change into a random zombie that cost 1 and not transfer any bonus attacks and/or frenzy attacks Reminder: Frenzy attacks and bonus attack our two different concepts so they have different interactions/mechanics and a lot more

Little late doe this, but the Snorkel Zombie did a bonus attack because the Supernova Garg had killed the two plants in its lane as it hit face, this we all know. But as for why it did only one is because of an oversight, Popcap made it so that if a minion porcs the enemy's block with a stored bonus attack, like double strike or frenzy, the spare bonus attack will be spent to prevent what happened with the snorkel, but they only did it for one bonus attack and not multiple

The mechanic is actually the block meter buff. Since they nerfed bonus attacks going through block meters, if an opponent blocks during a bonus attack combo, it completely cancels all bonus attacks. When you saw the two bonus attack symbols when he blocked those were the two bonus attacks used up due to the meter buff. The supernova garg was doing a regular frenzy bonus attack instead of a combo. so the unknown transmogrify game mechanic caused the transformed zombie to do a bonus attack because it wasnt used up like it was in the combo.

The bonus attack v transmogrify might be because of strike through and how the super nova Garg killed the poppies AND hit the block. The snorkel did the bonus attack because it was classified as a completely separate action whereas the mime Garg did a bonus attack because it was connected.

I think what happened is in the first one, it happened in the fight phase and the attack lane was there. When moving the attack turn moved to the right, it mustve activated a bonus attack in the after attack phase. For the second one, the attack thing didnt need to move to the lane to the right since there was no highlighted lane, so it didnt do the bonus attack

A block appears to block one bonus attack extra per lane, since the supernova had two bonus attacks left, it blocked one then waited. The trickster situation had the two bonus attacks spread across two lanes so it blocked both.

The block only got rid of one of the bonus attacks that super nova had, and since it got mogged during the block, a bonus attack was still triggered since super nova had one more. So the snorkel zombie did the 1 remaining bonus attack since it used to be the super nova.

The trickster’s bonus attack was added by an environment, as well as the bonus attack being part of the active ability. The Nova Garg has frenzy as a PART of its card. In that case, that is why it didn’t work for the trickster

I think the reason is because the supernova garg only did one bonus attack because of the strike through while it already being equipped with frenzy. The trickster got the stats from the environment and also knowing that the trickster already did all of its attacks. In summary, the supernova garg had strikethrough and frenzy while the trickster only had frenzy.

My guess is the supernova hit the hero through strikethrough triggering the block meter and it killed a minion(I don’t think it matters if it kills 1 or 2) this “prepared” it to make the 2nd attack. The Mog changed the zombie, but the bonus attack was still triggered. With the trickster, it likely made its bonus attack for being a trickster first. It used that attack which triggered the frenzy, and the mime. When it got changed, it was no longer a fusion with mustache. It was its own zombie. This means it had lost its bonus attack. My guess to why the bonus attack happened with the block meter is it likely makes an invisible “bonus lane” that disappears after the bonus attacks are done. It didn’t make that lane a 2nd time, the lane just didn’t go away.

I think the supernova had two attacks charged up. The block meter blocked the first attack but the mog happened before the second, and the game probably registered that minions ability to attack over, but the lane still had an attack.

There are 2 potential differences I could see affecting the results. The first difference is the fact that the supernova garg had frenzy and strikethrough while trickster only has frenzy. 2nd difference would be that the transmogrify would have not done a frenzy attack because the tricksters attack were already blocked. Also the supernova garg had strikethrough which means it does 2 bonus attacks. It blocked the 1st one but when it was transmogrified, it did the 2nd one. (we know from science goat that this exists) The trickster only had 1 singular attack for face=and that one attack was blocked by the meter.

I don't know if it was said, but I believe I know the difference. The Super Nova Garg had 2 bonus attacks stored up because it killed two plants. When the block happens, you see the animation of the Double Strike symbol. The game must initiate 1 bonus attack to disable any bonus attacks that come after blocking, but does not account for the rare scenario of 2 bonus attacked stored in a minion. Then with the Trickster, it only has 1 bonus attack stored up from killing the 1 recent Plant. When the block happens, you see the Double Strike icon above both the Trickster and Mime Garg, depleting their stored up bonus attacks. They only had 1 each stored up. Super Nova had 2, the game only negates 1.

I believe that this game has a sort of “stack” like mtg. When both of the bonus attacks happened because of the strike through frenzy killing two plants, the game stored the second one after the first one was canceled by the mog turning the supernova Garg into a diver. Then the second bonus attack happened and did two damage.

Fry the difference i todays stream was that when oponent blocked, it blocked the second pair or bonus atacks and you didnt have more bonus atacks left. The line of the supernova garg still had a bonus left to do, then transmografied into snorkel and block, then the snorkel did the bonus atack left

The supernova Gary counts as different frenzys because the strike through counts it as different bonus attacks. When the trickster attacked the mime garg triggerend a block phase, where the trickster’s other bonus attack was wasted. The snorkel also did only 1 bonus attack, bqcaus some was supposed to happen when mog was played

I don't know if this is correct, but I think it's because of the Trickster mechanic where it performs a Bonus Attack upon play. The frenzy attack was stored within the Bonus Attack, and since the new zombie didn't have that same Bonus Attack mechanic the frenzy didn't activate.

Here is the main difference between the Supernova Garg and the Trickster: SG was working off a frenzy, it still had 1 more frenzy attack so that carried over into whatever it got MOG into Trickster first action was the mustache monument (1st bonus), then frenzied (2nd bonus), once frenzy was complete the card got MOG so it never got to do the card mechanic because the card changed (3rd bonus). It could also be that it did the card mechanic first and when it got mog it cancelled the evolution because it is no longer evolved.

It's big brain time. The super nova garg had frenzy and strikethrough, once it attacked it proked the block and then had 2 more bonus attacks it had to do, when the hero blocks, it stops 1 bonus attack, not all bonus attacks, and since the frenzy actually triggers the lane on the zombie side to do a bonus attack, not the zombie. The reason the bonus attack triggers the lane is because team up does not get in the way because there are no team up zombies.

Since there were 3 bonus attacks for super nova, it could’ve stopped the second one, and allowed the third one, but trickster already used 2 bonus attacks before he blocks, and mime activated when a bonus attack is played, so it need to do 3 bonus attacks for it to mog and do a bonus attack.

My guess for the bonus attack is: that the garg did a bonus attack based on frenzy while the dog walker didn’t do a bonus attack bc that bonus attack it was supposed to do was based on the trickster ability. As for why the garg didn’t do two bonus attacks I’m not sure.

I have a new theory! The supernova garg had strikethrough from the environment. So killing the plant (collecting the frenzy) & filling the opponent's block meter (getting the transmogiify) happened simultaneously. In the 2nd example, the Trickster killed the plant (Collected the frenzy), then Mime Garg attacked and filled the block meter (getting the transmogify). The 2nd example, it was two separate attacks instead of one simultaneous hit.
