i like how some plants are pretty scared or disturbed about this whole mess while other plants that have black eyes accept the darkness. but two plants like snow pea and AAAAAA are straight up husk and feral.

I like the execution and idea of this so much. It's like what would happen if Plants vs. Zombies was more realistic or taken more seriously. Think about it the zombies take more hits to kill. They look more like real zombies. With plants being put to stop, kill, and survive these things it would only make sense for these plants to be scared and distressed of not wanting to die, just like how in zombie media the zombies are not only a threat to physical health but mental health to the survivors as well. The game is in black and white, like old horror movies. This is how you do a creepy pasta, or at least a video-game one. Instead of just making it super jump-scary or bloody, you make it look like a scenario where things go to sh*t in canon, like it's an alternative universe where things are more f*cked. Examples include: This, Horrortale, the starved sonic creepypasta. All of these take the normal canon and make it feel like what would've happened if things went a little more, peculiarly. Not entirely realistic, especially in the case of starved, but still just believable enough to not feel shoehorned in. In the case of the two creepypastas I mentioned, there are reasons for them happening, and thus, the setting, mood, characters, it all feels corrupt, warped. BTW I know this game mod isn't a creepypasta, I'm just using it as an example because it still fits with the point I'm trying to make.

Not the strongest plant on the field, but he is dedicated to protecting the lawn and killing the zombies who invade it Cherry bomb: The two Cherries look as if they've been through a war, they have been through so much in their lives that they will take it for the team as the main explosive to wipe out as many zombies as they could Walnut: Is always put out on the front lines, terrified of always getting eaten but his decent sturdy defense makes a great wall to stop the zombies from advancing forward. Potato mine: always hated the thought of getting blown up when a zombie triggers it, he lost his potato wife when the zombie uprise took over. Snow pea: a husk of his former self, but somewhere deep down he is still alive. The pole vaulter zombies showed no mercy towards the snow peas Chomper (AAA AAA AA): Chomper got out of hand before the zombie infestation arose. He ate two civilians and was called by animal control to remove the Feral chomper in the neighborhood. But after the zombie infestation happened he took the opportunity to break free and disguise himself as a sunflower to be put back in the yard to get a good meal out of the zombies. Repeater: pissed more than ever, seeing his plant comrades getting devoured by these rotting, walking corpses. He wanted exact revenge to avenge his fallen friends. Puff-Shroom: a brave little fighter he is. Even if his damage is little he still has courage and bravery when going against the zombies at night Sun-Shroom: sort of became a night owl as he hasn't gained sleep since. Which makes him paranoid and sees things that aren't real Fume-shroom: the big brother of Puff-Shroom. Does anything he can to protect him at all cost during a time of horror and struggle Grave buster: has been eating nothing but concrete and stone for days since the apocalypses occured, Crazy Dave had trouble with grave stones growing in his yard and found use for the Grave buster. Hypno-Shroom: Has been using his Hypnosis abilities for twisted purposes, which ended up with the Hypno-Shroom taking a truck to the psych ward where he continues to lose his mind. But seeing Zombies eat each other always puts a smile on it's face. Scardy-shroom: Scardy-shroom was always a scardy cat but since the zombie outbreak arose he was scared shitless. Wants nothing to do with the zombies but was forced to be out there anyways

His only complaint is the innards sticking to his spikes. Torchwood: Everybody likes and respects Torchwood, but does that really matter? Every time, he's forced to stay on the front of the lawn. What's so good about maximizing pea damage if you can't protect yourself from imminent demise? Tall-nut: People thought that Tall-nut would be happier now that his rival Wall-nut is broken and traumatized. Unbeknownst to them, they are brothers, and Tall-nut will not let his brother suffer alone in this war. Not after Wall-nut risked his sanity for him.

Shooting backward is no easy feat. Unbeknownst to him, it's a pea mutation, not a star sign. He will die at the age of 30. Starfruit: He seems happy. Maybe he hasn't registered the reality of the situation yet. Maybe he's in denial. Maybe he's too busy wondering about his last trip to the dentist to care. Pumpkin: His cousin Renfield was eaten. Pumpkin still wonders why Renfield never calls. Magnet-shroom: Magnetism is a powerful force. Very powerful. That's why we put a magnet on this stem to remove metal objects from zombies. Do not worry about its cry of distress, it'll be strong enough to handle the magnet eventually.

Tbh I think this mod could have been made a lot better, for example The sunflowers could have been made look scared and produce Less sun. I also wish that more of the plants had a new design to better fit to the theme of horror.

I think the best idea would be one where it’s like this but the plat designs, like the peashooter one, are just them in fear, the peashooter design is one of the best ones imo, just more of an accurate realistic design for what PvZ would be like
