For those who are unable to tackle question 4th here's the answer:- We are provided with the information that a cylindrical figure is scooped from the cuboid , and we have to find the surface area of *remaining* solid First we have to add all the sides of cuboid that is total surface area of cuboid then subtract 2×area of 1 circle from it ( because from the upper and lower surface of cuboid the circular portion of cylinder is scooped out so both the base will have circular holes in it so the area of both the circles will be subtracted from total surface area of cuboid) then we have to add curved surface area of cylinder (since we can touch the lateral surface of cylinder that is scooped out of cuboid ) So the derived formula is :- 2(lb+bh+hl)-2πr(r-h) [ taking 2 and (-) common] and the answer is 583
