for acid , any enemy with armour such as green monster second phase and laaxia get absolutely melted. one good hint is usually the game gives you the consumables you need otw to the boss, you will see alot of acid materials otw to laaxia for example

Yeah Things like this might actually get me to buy the game. I heard it's harder than dark souls with timing and That was pretty much a deal breaker for me. I beat Sekiro and loved it but if something is harder than that, that's a no go for me.

I had incidentally created an easy mode thanks to the holy sword and building into block regen and block stability. It is actually crazy to simply hold the block button for a huge combo and _not care_ only to smack them once with the greatsword and get all that life back. Ludicrously strong and user-friendly for any motility build.

I don't get why people don't understand how ridiculously good the Trident of Covenant is. Every time I see a weapons ranking, it's somewhere in the middle. Gives you some of the best damage in the game. It's a ridiculously fast attack animation for a big weapon, with the easiest to land charge attack. Slap on a ridiculous 30% crit rate and you've got a God tier weapon.

Electricity against puppepts/mechanical enemies Fire against carcasses aka zombies Acid against humans and modified human Game tips you with what you what you are going to fight in the near future or near vicinity by giving you patricular items for upcoming enemies. Whenever you find special grindstone, or special throwable like thermite, blitz or acid bottle that means enemy who is weak against your picked up item will appear soon. With that I don't mean drops from killed enemies but pickable items scattered on the map along your way through out your play.

Also, don't forget: when an enemy is staggered, you can get a couple of hits in from the side before doing the fatal attack! Extra, free damage! You have more than enough time to do this, and it doesn't get them un- staggered (which is a word now)

I quickly figured out you could cheese the game abusing a high dmg motivity blade with a fast move set handle and that's what I did lol. used fully upgraded aegis with puppet axe + police baton handle. highest weight defense armors. all HP amulets and defense / weight amulet. max out guard regen then just block all their damage and get it back in one hit. liberally just stood in front of the last 2 bosses bullying them as they tried to make my HP move. was a joy

I would recommend police baton on strength build. It's quite handy, move is quick comparing to other strength weapon, and has perfect guard. It's just simple and good. Sword of fate's move sets are just way too trash to be considered useful. It's charge heavy is incredibly slow and it's a two hit combo that can be interrupted.

King of Puppets' second phase gave me a LOT of headache, even when I summoned the specter. By the way, throwables were the thing that made my life a little easier. Now, Romeo on the other hand... I need to figure out to correctly optimize the build I chose.

I cant defeat the Green Monster. TEN HOURS on the boss and im not even seeing progress. Get to phase 2 with 8 heals consistently and I just get melted. Never even gotten its health bar below 75%. Seems I will not be finishing this game.

The Tier 7 P organ skill dosnt make you "perfect parry" everything "easy mode", it just let you normal block red attacks. There is also a way to dodge them, not sure if it was a upgarde or an amulet >,< ... But yeah ng++ red attacks can be mostly blocked or dodge without trouble, and indeed with the damage reduction from fury attacks and blocking them, some red attacks do less damage than normal attacks if you block them xPP

6:45 just a small note, the grindstone doesn't come from this specific collection item. Each collection item unlocks the next tier of his shop, and the perfection grindstone is in his tier three, so you need to grab the other two collection items as well

Just to note for that mini boss at 1:30. You can kite him to the upper stairs near the entrance and use the above platforms to initiate a drop attack on him. Makes that encounter so much easier, as its stunned for a couple seconds, long enough for you to get away and repeat the process.

Acid seems stronger against humans than fire. Fire is effective against the corpses.

Makes sense, acid melts weapons durability so it's effective vs humans who use weapons, fire burns away corruption in few puzzles which always appears in corpses infested areas suggesting that fire is the best way to cleanse the zombies.
