I would never in a million years say Danielle didn't deserve that win, but a fair amount of luck went her way in those last few frames. Tanya throws a perfect shot and leaves a 7, Danielle's first two strikes weren't exactly flush hits, and she damn near left a split on her last ball when she needed 8. Just the way it goes sometimes I guess.

@jackthestripper187 Thanks - I'm pleased to be informed on the finer points of the game. As my earlier post says, I'm a skittler which is a whole different ball game(sic) Our alleys/balls/pins etc can vary alley to alley, town to town, village to village, league to league but as we always point out, when we play, it's the same for both teams. Thanks again.

gotta love the classless way that Shannon shook her head when Danielle carried the light hit and then the high hit in the 10th and 11th. Hey Shannon, show a little class. You're a pro bowler. You know that many, many matches are decided by lucky carries, stone 8, 9 or 10's, etc. Luck and pin action are part of the game. Don't sit there and shake your head like you've never had a lucky break.
@ESchubert4 жыл бұрын
I thought the exact same thing! Way to shake your head, Shannon. -_-

I don't agree with Liz when she says that the lanes have to be this tough when your in the majors, and the lanes are so badly oil conditioned that I would never need to bowl because it's just to hard to strike, and as a result I haven't bowled for over 30 years. So I guess I have to bowl when I get to heaven --- maybe the rapture of the church will happen and I can go real soon.
