On the other hand, FeCl₃ and AlCl₃ will have lower covalent character according to Fajan’s rules, as their size and electron-attracting ability are comparatively less than SnCl₂. MgCl₂ has even less covalent character. Thus, **SnCl₂ has the highest covalent character.** 😊
