Here's a notes for your best preparation Force • An push or pull of an object is known as force. Example -Kicking a ball. •It is important to interact two objects with each other. • it can change the direction,speed,rest to motion, motion to rest. •if two persons forcing in same direction so we find the sum of F1+F2 • if two persons forcing from opposite direction then we find the difference. • it is always done in a specific direction •if the force is equal but from opposite direction then the force is 0. • f= ma M=mass A=Acceleration •It change also change the shape and size of the object •There are two type of force is contact force and non contact force •Contact force is a force in which it required the physical touch of two surfaces. Example kicking of football •non contact force is a force in which it doesn't require the physical contact of two forces Example magnet attracting an iron object There are two types of contact forces muscular force The force in which is act by the action of muscles is known as muscular force example digesting of food and lifting Frictional force •it is a force which result to oppose the direction Air resistance/drag •the frictional force exerted by a fluid is called drag •liquids and gases are together called fluids Non contact force Magnetic force Electrostatic force Gravitational force Magnetic force •a force exerted by a magnet is called magnetic force in which unlike poles attract each other and the same poles repel each other. Electrostatic force •it is a force exerted by a charged body to another charged or uncharged body is called electrostatic force Gravitational force •the force exerted by gravity attracting the objects to the surface of the earth. For example falling a apple from tree Pressure Here's a trick for you all to remember the definition of force. You can remember this by its formula which is pressure equal to force by area Definition will be like Pressure is force applied per unit area. The SI unit of pressure is Pascal or Newton per metre square •if area increases then pressure decreases Pressure in a liquids and gases •liquids also exert pressure if like it firstly exerts for pressure on container •every point have same amount of force from all the directions but condition is that there depth should be same.
